1P Challenger's Str/Def Boosts
K, I've been playing neopets for a long time, and i've been battling for a long time.

But i've never found out when do the 1p challengers get there strength/defence boosts. So, when do they? Is it equivalent to hp, so a 200hp chia clown would have a 200 str boost, 200 def boost? Or does it depend on the 1p challenger?

Oh, anyone wanna battle (L4), User: Millennium13, pet: Millennium3

It depends on their difficulty. For example, Chia Clown has a starting difficulty of 10, which means he'll have an 8 boost at the start when you haven't defeated him yet.

RE: 1P Challenger's Str/Def Boosts
No its not.

difficulty only means anything for points.

They start at a specific STR and incrementally gain stats each win just like HP.

We started to map a few challengers out on the 1p research thread, but most people never bothered to report data - since it isn't that important to micromanage.

So it's different for every challenger? However, it is somewhat like HP is increased after every battle?

Thanks for the quick replies =).

ya it gains small ammounts each time, but its only been calculated out how much they gain each time for a few challangers, and then I lost the data since I wasn't managing the 1p research thread at the time, and didn't think anyone really cared.

Oh alright. I was hoping it was gonna be constant like every win = 1 str/def. Thanks anyways.

Off-hand, I want to say that the gain for Strength/Defense is the same as the HP gain (keeping in mind that starting HP doesn't need to be the same as starting Strength/Defense), but I can't recall for certain.

RE: 1P Challenger's Str/Def Boosts
Well it is constant per challenger, its just that its different for each challener.

like the flamming meerca might have a gain of .5 STR per win and the snowager might gain 50 hp per win.

Its definitely not the same as HP gain because the flaming meerca hits 700 STR at something like 1000-1200 hp.

Its a pain to calculate per challenger and its not that ueful, since you can always just check what their STR is by calculating it out
