Set upgrade
Hey looking to upgrade my set, any help is appreciated.
Hit Points: 172 / 172 Strength: ULTIMATE (209) Defence: ULTIMATE (150) Movement: LEGENDARY (127) Intelligence: ULTIMATE GENIUS (165) Ring of the Lost H4000 Helmet Ghostkerbomb Honey Potion Gelert Healing Remedy Scuzzys Comb Downsize! and Shovel Plus"for whatever reason" I mostly play 1P battledome, so I was thinking about selling the honey potion for a SoS, " I have about 10.2 million to spend" But that would make the third Scuzzys comb and most everything else but the Healing remedy useless, so any advice is appreciated. |

RE: Set upgrade
I'm a fan of defensive battling and since your defense boost is decent I'd sell off the Honey Potion and Scuzzys Comb and replace them with two Ylanas Blasters and buy a Faerie Tabard to cover the icons your Ring of the Lost isn't defending. Otherwise Sword of Skardsen is always a good option but you have to get a decent shield of some kind and for your other constant perhaps a Ylanas Blaster. Neither of the defensive items you currently possess make use of your high defense boost, if you buy something like a Sophies Magic Hat it's completely underpowered compared to the rest of your set.

RE: Set upgrade
Let's look at this set: #1 & #2 slots (primary attackers) - Scuzzy's Comb, vacant; #3 and #4 slots (alternative attackers/dual duties) - Ring of the Lost, Honey Potion; #5 slot (healer) Gelert Healing Remedy; #6 slot (freezer) - H4000 Helmet; #7 slot (bomb) - Ghostkerbomb; #8 slot (situational/pure defensive shield) - Downsize!/Shovel Plus.
When viewed this way, your set is strong in the #3 slot (RotL), as well as in slots 5, 6, and 7 and at least has posibilities in slot #8. It's woefully weak is positions 1, 2 and 4 (the once per battle Honey Potion). You have no multi-use offensive weapon that's scary to anyone. The SoS would do two things for you. It would give you a legit #1 multi-use attacker (particularly since you're primarily a one-player fighter) and it would give you something to maximize your knockout potential on a frozen opponent when paired with your G-Bomb. The Honey Potion is of minimal value to you in this set. Scuzzy's comb would drop to your #2 attacker, which is weak, and your next area of upgrade (a Y-Blaster would be a much better alternative). You should also get a CHEAP Scarab Ring to either plug in the #4 slot in place of the Honey Potion or as a further option in the #8 slot. It would be good to have an inexpensive Purple Sticky Hand to rotate in that #8 slot as well. To me the Shovel Plus would be a source of funds. So I guess my advice would be first, get the SoS as you can afford it and it improves a couple of things for you. Second, look to upgrade with a Y-Blaster as soon as you can after that which will make the Honey Potion, Scuzzys Comb and Shovel Plus not worth equipping. Hope this helps! You can pretend to care, but you can't pretend to BE THERE! |

RE: Set upgrade
I'm surprised no one has said this. its a small upgrade but definatly a good one. Trade your H4k and a few pure K for a Freezing potion.

RE: Set upgrade
Was about to say that; only collectors have use for H4K Helmet...
EDIT: I totally didn't see that GBomb. So: I think Dual YBlasters will do you the best, and perhaps, even going further and upgrading into something along the lines of a Werelupe Claw Necklace or anything in that class. ´¨¨)) -:¦:- Fweem -:¦:- ¸.´ .´¨¨)) ((¸¸.´ ..´ -:¦:- ascii art <3 -:¦:- -:¦:- ((¸¸.´*™ |

RE: Set upgrade
Thanks for the info, I'm thinking about selling the Honey Potion, buying a SoS, upgrading the H4k to a Freezing potion like you suggested, sell the Scuzzys comb and and see if I can't scrape up enough NP to replace it with a Yalanas Blaster. How does that sound?

RE: Set upgrade
Like a heck of an improvement and a decent, solid set for where you are. I'd continue to advocate the inexpensive Purple Sticky Hand and Scarab Ring as inexensive additional options for your #8 slot.

RE: Set upgrade
Well first off for 1p Prickly potion is going to be much better than Scuzzys comb most of the time so I would start off picking up 2 of those of those.
Next I would get Sword of Skardsen after selling the honey potion. The thing to remeber about it though is that up until the 300 boost PPots will do more damage while defending, but when berserking it is better than a PPot at 200 boost, but the opponent will do a lot more damage. The SoS will also help out when freezing. |
