Help getting started.

I'm fairly new to the battledome and was wondering if i could get some suggestions on building my first set.

Here's what I have atm.

Scarab Ring
17-Pound Trout
Golden Compass
Downsize!
Ice Club
Stone Club
Blue Scorchstone

Kougra
Agility : 15
Strength : 29
Defence: 13
hp: 23
Level : 16

Should i focus my np on training or weapons when starting out?

you have a nice set at the momment so I would suggest training your pet

Nice siggy lol. That's what I figured but it just seems so tedious. The wait time drives me insane and I don't really want to do kitchen quests because I have two other pets, although one is a lab rat so I guess I could use them in bd as well.

Ummm well I understand on the wait but my peophin uses 6 codestones and I have to wait 12 hours to finish a course.

Here's a set which you should be able to afford, other than that training is probably the best thing you can do, which you should do!
