Should I save up for H4000 Helmit, or Sword of Skardsken

3.Iron Lupe Sword
4.Lost Desert Dagger
5.Earthen Scorchstone
6.Rusty Lamppost
7.Leaf Shield
8.Cloudy Wand of Storms

All of my stats are currently at 251

First off are you more into 1p or 2p?
If you're 2p then do not get the SoS, it gets destroyed there, especially at your boost
Second of all, I personally either weapons would be much help to your set, if I were I would try to upgrade each weapon in my set:
Here'd a set for the price of one Sos:
1. Wand of REality
2. Scuzzys Comb
3. Mask of Coltzan
4. Dusty Magic Broom
5. Ancient Lupe Wand
6. Honey Potion
7. Greater Healing Scroll
8. Leaf Shield

Now if you can switch to your pet into a lenny, here's a decent set, for abut 15 mil, but will help you the greatest:
1. Wand of REality
2. Scuzzys COmb
3. Entangling Lenny Lasso
4. Bag of Lenny Healing Seeds
5. Mask of Coltzan
6. Dust Magic Broom
7. Honey Potion
8. Sophies Magic Hat

So what I'm basically telling you is your bet off saving up for a certain amount of nps, then for just one item, the set you choose is up to you

Keep in mind that the Ancient Lupe Wand is lupe-only if you got steeler's first option.

Now for your question- i'd say h400 helmet would help you out the most, but you need to get some 9 or 10 iconers in your set ASAP- they are cheap and a powerful upgrade.
