Btw, changed Junior Squadron's goo blaster to giant goo blaster

99.9% of the time, STR and DEF are the same as HP. I would say that's a pretty safe assumption, and it shouldn't make a difference if it's not (since the amount of HP deducted will still be the same).

Yeah, he's getting hard for me to manage... I don't think I'll be able to get many more. He keeps either freezing me when I have one hit left on him (and he hits me for over 340 damage, so I have to withdraw) or actually using his Jade at the proper time. Grr. I'm just glad he doesn't have a tear, too! Wink

RE: RoS War Thread!
As a war newbie, what should be my strategy?

As many wins as possible over every opponent - in any order? Just keep fighting until I lose? Currently at 75/50/10 wins in order of difficulty.

Don't record a loss - too late (oops) but withdraw?

How did they allocate points in previous wars? Was there a cap?

Sorry to be asking the obvious.

RE: RoS War Thread!
Fight for as many wins as you can get, stronger opponents are worth more. That's how it is in "pure" war. ToW did a 30 win cap per opponent, and didn't count anything beyond that. Ties and losses only affect your BD record (in ToW, there was a loss cap against the Mayor that also counted for points).

Edit: Never mind. Completely glanced over your Defense.

Heh, my set is pretty standard/average for my league I think. Well, judging from the 2-Player battles I usually have.

And yes, I love my defense boost, but imo, that money spent training it would have been more effective in training hp. Toungue I haven't really run my shields yet.

War, lolwut. Is this a real war or just lame fighting as part of another plot?

I remember a time when TNT made all petpets "disappear" and put a picture of a grundo with a big sack in the new features (the image was named war_rank_minion_3 or something along those lines). I thought that was the beginning of a new Sloth war. Here we are, all these years later, and so much has changed.... Enough of my ramblings. Those times are long gone.

If you're not using the Tabard, then your set is still way above mine. I've hit 67 wins and I'm still having to withdraw every few battles.

Shh, we're letting everyone think it's a war, Wink. Odds are it's lame plot battling, but I'm not going to complain as long as TNT leaves these opponents out long enough for us to max out against them.

Are you referring to a time other than when our Petpets all ran away to Jelly World to eat that ginormous jelly?

You mean when there was a glitch that caused all of the petpets to disappear and TNT had to hurriedly cover up for it? Yeah, that's the one.

I'm at 23 wins for Riilan, and I think I can squeeze 25. It'll be tough though.

we've three opponents
What's the best weapons possible to max these out?

What are less expensive alternatives then the best?

What's going to let low level battlers squeak in a few more wins when they get desperate?

RE: The Return of Sloth War Thread!
As something of a low level weakling (I have a level 27 poogle) that can't take anything above Strike Commanders, I can vouch that the Shiny Shoal Shell Shield is useful against the Garoo Elite Strike Commanders' water, earth, and especially air icons form many of his weapons. And the Thief Dagger was great for the light in a hand full of his weapons.

The juniors are mostly a joke for anyone with a defense of 50, their main purpose is to be squashed to refill hp.

I found that the frozen collar is useful to certain extent. But i guess that a nice estrategy with the use of faerie habilities is their best bet.
