Advice on 1P Set
I need advice on possible upgrades/changes to my set, as well as training. I am currently L10, and don't mind moving up a league or two. I lab daily, don't do K-Quests, sometimes I will use EoDs on my pet to increase Str because I would have to train 40 levels + lots of codestones to train Str (but now they really inflated, so I am reconsidering), I occasionally train HP (nothing else). This is for 1P only. ((And a final note, I don't plan on buying anything until "war time inflation" is over))

Current Budget: 1.3 mil in pure. I make like 300k - 500k a week or so.

Current Set:

Greater Healing Scroll
Entangling Lenny Lasso
Honey Potion
Downsize!
Purple Sticky Hand
Scuzzys Comb
Wand of Reality
Leaf Shield

Level: 120
Health: 321 / 321
Strength: ULTIMATE (168)
Defence: AMAZING (97)
Move: AMAZING (83)
Intelligence: ULTIMATE GENIUS (499)

Abilities:

Thunder Tail
Drain Life
Night Vision
Demon Breath
Burrow
Magic Berries
Tough Skin
Regeneration
Haste
Flight
Negg
Temporal Leak
Spark
Air Shield
Dive
Invisibility
Diamond Dust
Shroud
Shadow Health
Twisting Vines
Sink
Magic Pebbles
Fiery Gaze
Smoke Screen
Fiery Roar
Great Feast
Nighttime

Basically, I need to know what I should save up for, if I should change anything out or get rid of any items in my set.

RE: Advice on 1P Set
Although your defence is rather low compared to your strength, it's still fairly significant, so upgrading your Leaf Shield might be a good idea. I like Sophies Magic Hat.

Obviously look into getting a second 13-iconer.

You might want to replace your Wand of Reality with a Bow of Destiny so that you can keep dual Suzzys Combs as backups. (as I believe is stated in the ratings for the two weapons, BoD doesn't have light overlap, so SCs would be good backups for it, if your Bows are getting blocked)

You might want to look into replacing your Greater Healing Scroll with Bag of Lenny Healing Seeds, although I'm sure it's currently out of your budget. Just keep saving for awhile. At your income, it shouldn't take too long.

I'm going to recommend against that. As you continue labbing your Strength will continue to raise, and your Defense will probably slowly drop. Once you either hit 200 Strength or your Defense drops below 85 your Defense won't matter comparatively to your Strength. Right now it still does, and Leaf Shield can give you more net icons in some cases over Scuzzys Comb. Leaf Shield blocks three icon types while Sophies Magic Hat targets four: in order for the Hat to be better, you'll be needing to soak up Earth and two of the other icon types, without having Water in the picture. (That's also to justify its use over Scuzzys Comb.)

As your HP continues to raise, Bag of Lenny Healing Seeds will become a bigger deal. Right now, it already is a big deal, and especially so if you disregard my next piece of advice.

I'd highly recommend you either start K-Questing or training your Level in order to train your Strength. It's the limiting factor in One Player (until you hit the higher Boosts where the gain becomes more marginal), and if you don't you're going to eventually cap out your weapons (around the time you upgrade to Sword of Skardsen). (If you care about Two Player battling, or would like to have even stats over the long term, you may want to consider picking up your Defense as well, but that will greatly add to the cost/time factor.) Compared to the 125 Strength Boost, that 200 Boost is like always being on Berserk only without the danger factor and while being able to use other abilities (it's a 4.5x multiplier compared to a 3x multiplier).

If you're looking to do some maxing out, I'd recommend looking into dual-Prickly Potions. You should also consider back-up weapons: right now your Comb and Wand stack nicely, and you should target other icon types (I'd recommend Essence of Esophagor). However, that's only if you care about maxing out and not just getting single wins for DoN and the like.

RE: Advice on 1P Set
OK, so I will train Level to 161 using Terror Troves and K-Quests, then train to 200 Str boost (and keep training up the boosts from there). Do K-Quests stat gains always go to the active pet, or is it random? Because I have two pets right now, but don't want to get rid of my Robo Poogle unil the pound is reopened. Once I can afford it, I'll get BoLHS, and after that, upgrade SC to another 13 iconer (which would be better, another WoR, or a BoD?)

RE: Advice on 1P Set
K-Quest rewards are random, I'm afraid, and the date for the return of the pound anything but fixed, so you really have to make a choice on the matter, since you'll have to halve the cost of every individual cost before checking if it's worth doing, cutting down the number of such quests by quite a bit. That said, if you're not in any hurry, cheap K-Quests will probably be good for the occasional stat gain on your battle pet.

Rather than upgrading SC, I'd do as Shattered recommended and work on backup icon types, but to answer your question, you almost never, whether in 1P or 2P, want to have BoD AND WoR in the same set, when you can dual either otherwise.

RE: Advice on 1P Set
For 1p under 250 STR (especially without dual sword of skardsen) the only constants you should ever need are Prickly Potion x2. On a 700 boost opponent they are better than SuAP + FSling hitting max every turn (93 icons vs a max of 87 from Fsling + SuAP) and even against opponets with at least the 250-300 boosts they will still likely outdamge your constants. You even get to defend with the PPots instead of

I would still keep real constants around for freeze turns and for beating up smaller opponents until the PPots do more damage, but even during a freeze turn you pretty much need to be using SoS + GBomb to do more damage than the single PPot you didn't use while the opponent was frozen against higher boost opponents.

Instead of keeping the WoR around you might just want to pick up a few full blockers/reflectors like Pirate Captains Hat or U-Bend of Great Justice. Upgrading your healer should also be a fairly high priority.

Non Percentage based defense is fairly useless in one player except for very low level pets fighting against low leveled opponents (Basically how 2x Leaf Shield was able to full block the first Journey to the Lost Island plot until he ran out of snowballs) and then once you have the 550-700 Defense boosts when it will be close to the opponents strength and will be able to block a significant potion of their attacks. In my experience by the time that you are going be having trouble with any opponent their strength will be much higher than your defense and will make most variable defense weapons useless.

I would listen to thesovereign and just get ppots, they are the best constants for 1-player

RE: Advice on 1P Set
PPots are useful- but you have to understand when. He has 125 boost, or 3 damage per icon. PPot is roughly the same price as scuzzys comb out of war-inflation, so let's compare it to a 10 iconer. 10 icons at his boost is 30 damage- therefore, to do 30 damage with 6 reflecting icons, he needs to fight sombody who hits for 30/6 = 5 damage per icon. This means that until he fights 1p opponents with HP above 250, the similar priced Scuzzys Comb is better. Even with 9-iconers, like the Stone Club, he has to be fighting against somebody with 200 HP or more.

So by all means get PPots, but realise that you have to consider when they are useful.

Advice-giver.
