What do I need? -- Set Help Please

Hi all!
So after this plot is finished and hopefully, the prices of weapons deflate, I'd like to get into battling. Some of my friends are planning to set up a small tournament. We all have about the same stats/neopoints. I was into battling a few years ago, but since then I've sold my set. Now, I have to make a new one, and I'm not so familiar with what has changed.

Pet Stats:

Species: Lupe
Gender: Male
Level: 30
Health: 59
Strength: 55
Defence: 55
Movement: 8
Intelligence: 60
I have faerie abilities covered

Budget: 1 mil. . . I can stretch to 2 mil, but don't really want to bankrupt myself.

I don't really have a set. But here is what I'm thinking (it goes a little over 1mil).

Greater Healing Scroll
Ancient Lupe Wand
Downsize!
Golden Compass
Sword of the Dead
Psellias Fighting Fan
Ramtors Spellbook
Brilliant Wing Amulet
- the set is intended to stack air/light, while covering sink/burrow

I hope I included everything, if you need anything, just ask. Any suggestions or improvements would be very much appreciated.

I think you're definitely missing a honey potion in there
ALW, GHS, downsize!, RSB and GoC all look good.

You can put in a honey potion, and if you really want to win this tournament you can get a scroll of freezing. As a strategic backup I like the ethereal sword. You block out the light your friend's could be dealing with a golden compass, while adding on to your light. Perhaps the weapon is too weak on the attack side, so instead I would also suggest a scarab ring, which can cancel the fire of GoC But to give you the edge, my best suggestion would be a honey pot and beware of the stealer.

Having Psellias Fighting Fan and golden compass seems a bit redundant, when I can just have dual golden compass.
I'm really thinking about scarab ring, ethereal sword, and honey potion. Honey potion would definitely be useful, but its a bit too expensive for me, so I'm not sure. Also, I don't know how to fit it into my set. I find the scarab ring's defense really useful. I think I'll replace the fan for it, unless the honey potion takes that spot. Sword of the dead offers 1 more icon overall than ethereal sword, but ethereal sword deals all air, which looks interesting.

The best way to decide would be for me to actually test my set in the battledome, but given the potential war, I don't feel like buying any weapons.

For now, I'll just do a lot more thinking about it. Thanks for all the suggestions!
