Species with best weapons?
Hello. I am looking for help on which species has the best weapons (in your opinion) compared to the other species. This might help make my decision on which pet to end up morphing into. Btw, any advice would be good.
Btw, don't punish me or send meepits after me if this is on the wrong board because this one seems the most appropriate to me .

RE: Species with best weapons?
This is the right forum.
Most people switch to species nowadays for healers and freezers. Kacheek Life Potion, Elephante Unguent, Gelert Healing Remedy, Icy Chia Goggles, and Entangling Lenny Lasso/Lenny Bag of Healing Seeds all come to mind off-hand. At the low-end, Lupes have Ancient Lupe Wand. There isn't really much left in the way of good species "weapons" anymore. My Digimon fanfic "Illusory Memories" is complete: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3798268/1/Illusory_Memories "If the Spectres have resurfaced, this is no longer a game between us and the Phoenixes. We need to have humanity by the throat before the Spectres alert the humans to our presence." One Player High Score Charts Achieved: 5 / 59 (Holding Two) |

RE: Species with best weapons?
Helping you choose the right species to morph into would require more information, namely your budget and hp and maybe your set. You can also take into account speceis resistance and weaknesses when making your choice.

RE: Species with best weapons?
Some species has natural resistance against some kind of icon/damage (like pteris than gets reduced damage from air damage).
I think that there's no better specie weapon. It's just that some species has a cheaper alternative of a useful kind of weapon (like the poogle healer or the lenny freezer). Your goal is short term (the suspected comming war) or a mid term or long term. Also doyou want to be a top battler or just end defenders or... which is your goal? RE: Species with best weapons?
mid-long term. Although I try to save as much np as possible to upgrade weapons when not working on my gallery. My weapons aren't that great right now and I know it. I could always sell expensive things from my gallery... or SDB
![]() Weapons: (My weapons are weak mind you )Golden Compass Makeshift Ships Hammer Leaf Shield Downsize! Shooting Star Muffin (One use) Thick Smoke Bomb (One use) Greater Healing Scroll (Suggest one more?) Goal: Honey Potion... I mainly use abilities: drain life, then burrow, then regeneration. The lab made my pet go back to level 1, so I'm not going to start training level yet because the lab doesn't like me, keeps making my level go down. ![]() Suggestions would be very much appreciated!

RE: Species with best weapons?
umm, you're missing the budget and hp stilll =P 2 important parts of making a decision. But I'll assume your hp is under 90hp, so GHS is still the best for you, assuming your budget is also under 3mil. As for a good pet, I would probably not give much thought to it. Perhaps getting a scorchio for their nice resistances...but you can find all resistances on IDB, so from there you can take a pick..
The species weapons won't really make a difference since most of them (except the healers) are over 2mil, and you don't need a better healer for now. One choice might be the lupe for the ancient lupe wand, (not sure if that idea it too ancient though )

RE: Species with best weapons?
Yeah, I'm missing the budget. Put too much in the stock market. My stocks aren't rising
![]() Working on the hp though. The lab always gives me hp but then always drops my levels. ![]() Yeah, I wasn't thinking about the healer although I could always use one. It's mostly the freezing part. I looked at all the species and the resistance and the weapons they have and it looks like it's between Elephante and chia. Apple, blueberry, asparagus, etc. chias look so cool! Elephante's has a cheap healer. hmmm... Anyone know a site with the new pet redraws? By the way, thanks Shattered Rift, Q77, and raziel_03!

RE: Species with best weapons?
Hopefully I'm not too little too late to chime in here.
Jellyneo has "the new rainbow pool" which shows all of the redraws. Elephantes look much better now than they used to - but they're still relatively uncool as far as eye-candy potential goes. And I have to say this: If you are labbing your pet you probably don't WANT to morph just for the sake of a healer / other species-specific weapon or resistance. Do you want to shell out 100k (in the case of a Blue or Green Elephante Morphing Potion) every time the lab changes your species? I don't know what Chia Morphing Potions go for but I doubt that they're any cheaper. If you're serious about morphing you might want to consider quitting the lab. Just sayin'. |

RE: Species with best weapons?
The best species with an unlimited budget are Ptries or Scorchios since they have relevant species resistances.
Kaus are nice at lower levels since they have a 10% resistance to everything except dark, and you can see a lot of random types of icons at the lower levels of fighting. As far as actual weapons go, once you get to a point where you need a 50% healer and a freezer I would go with a kacheek, gelert, or really any species that has a cheap (under 100K) species healer and buy a H4K Helmet. The only species with both healer and freezer is the Lenny, which both ussually cost about as much as H4K helmet and a Gelert Healing Remedy, except the Lenny Healer can be hard to find. The advantage to going with a Lenny though, is that you can buy the morphing potions very cheap if the lab changes your species. Personally I plan on just saving for a real healer and freezer and getting a pteri to help defend against PCC/GSword. Until then I just have someone KFlour me to a kacheek when the lab changes my species. |

Thanks for the awesome advice thesovereign!
Quote: If you're serious about morphing you might want to consider quitting the lab. --------- Yep, already plan on doing that when I morph my pet. My decision lands on the species resistance, species weapons, the species (it doesn't look weird), and species colour (don't really need PB, have a fountain faerie quest already done and not used) |
