Help Needed: Ice & Stone Club vs. Golden Compass

I currently have an Ice club and a Stone Club. Stone Clubs are selling for about 70K and Ice Clubs for about 80K. I was thinking of upgrading to Golden Compasses; which are about 110K. Is now a good time to sell them and upgrade to two Golden Compasses. Or do you think Golden compasses will drop more in price and/or Ice club and a Stone Club will increase? Thanks for the help.

i doubt that the clubs will increase unless retired and i think the GoC has dropped you can find them often buyable in shops so i think just keep an eye out and you can find one under 100k

It all depends on if you want 5.2 extra dark DEF for a certain price I'm too lazy to calculate. Of course, if you have a weapon like Mask of Coltzan which defends dark, you will have no need for a Golden Compass.

However, the Compass deals different icons, but in 1p, it wouldn't make a difference as you're counting mode icons rather than variety. In fact, dual Essence of Esophagers would be best in 1p, while suck horribly in 2p. It just depends on what you play.

If you're talking about investing, it would be nice to monitor the rarity value and if it increases at all, start investing.

I'm not looking for an investment, although I wouldn't want a weapon that's value suddenly deflated after I bought it. I do mostly 1P battling. I just wanted to make sure that Golden Compass was a good buy right now and an OK upgrade from Stone Club and Ice Club.

1p? then i would stick with the 2-Stone Clubs, dual duties are not needed in ip. If i were you i would try to save up for two prickly potions, they are probably the best weapons you can get for 1p.

Aargh. EoE does not suck in 2p. It's meant to be a backup weapon, in case your main is getting blocked. It also has situational use as a shield "draw-outer"; if you know your opponent likes to pack a Leaf Shield, flash an EoE and then on the next turn (when he'll presumably use the shield) hit him with a non-water/earth/physical weapon (Skeletal Fire Gun comes to mind).

If you're mainly doing 1p, I don't see much use in upgrading (as has been said before). Dual one of the clubs (that way the icons are a bit harder to stop), and look into upgrading for dual Scuzzys Combs.

Or use just save up and get PPots, that'd probably be the best thing to do.

I'm of the mind that GoC's are a step between 9-iconers and 10-iconers for 1 player. Its 5.2 dark defence you wouldn't have otherwise- which will at least block some damage occasionally. All your really loosing is that your attack is now over 3 icons which leaves it more vulnerable to defences of 1-p opponents.

Actually GoC gives 2.6 dark defense if I am not mistaken. But I wuld really just say go with GoC.

Just to clarify- 5.2 means 2.6*2 (2 GoC's)
Many 1-p dual most of their weapons, to decrease the chance of being blocked by 1-p opponents.
