Roguelikes
Roguelikes = free 1player rpgs with ascii graphics, known for their detailed gameplay and random dungeons. My fav games. Anyone else into roguelikes?

ADOM - http://www.adom.de
Great roguelike with a pregenerated overworld (wilderness)

Dwarf Fortress - http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/
Still alpha and under constant development, it generates an entire world. Gameplay is quite different (build fortress with 7 dwarves) though adventure mode follows traditional roguelike formula

Nethack - http://www.nethack.org/
Haven't gotten into this, but it's regarded as one of the best

Guild - http://www.guildgame.com/index.htm
Small, unknown roguelike with a unique guild system that I like

RE: Roguelikes
I've played Angband. I love how every character you play is different due to finding different stuff. I've never won, but I have a level 50 character sitting on my hard drive, because I got bored while trying to finally find the last spellbook and find a few other things to prepare for the final battle.

I've tried a couple other roguelikes, including some of the variants of Angband, but Angband is the only one I like.
