Treasure of the Black Pawkeet tracking
Any interest in a thread to track the treasure here? A little like Turmy awake tracking.

20k as possible prize seems a reasonable amount to make some effort.

A couple of other places used to be doing it but seemed to have stopped.

Simple grid point location and time with prize as info.

RE: Treasure of the Black Pawkeet tracking
I like this idea because If I understand correctly, the treasure "drifts" and leaves various prizes in its wake and i'd rather see one of us IDB'ers getting in on the jackpot. The only thing I'm not too sure about is that wouldn't this be considered pooling resources and against the terms & conditions?

Somewhat a grey area of the rules but until I know for sure, i'm opting out

I'm pretty sure this is not against the terms and conditions...many other forums and sometimes the chat boards on neo have done this.

RE: Treasure of the Black Pawkeet tracking
No... The idea is similar to a game of battleship. Randomly picking spots on the chart until someone scores a "hit". Once someone gets a prize of some sort, the other participants should be homing their picks around that spot until a pattern of the drift is established and eventually someone scores upon the jackpot and the game is reset.

The only problem is that as far as I know the whole drifting part is at best, a theory. However i've been hearing this for some time now and i'd like to put it to the test.

There is a good guide that was not updated for a while but seems to have just become active again - Google 'buried treasure guide', you should find it.

The theory seems to be that the main prizes are in 3x3 grid with a few others randomly located. The main grid drifts roughly anticlockwise and apart from the NP/Dubloon prizes there is an avatar to be won.
