Need Advice for Shield

So far my set is like this:
Wand of Reality
Winged Scarab
Golden Compass----? upgrade?
Downsize!
Kacheek Life Potion
Freezing Potion
Honey Potion
----?

I'll be doing nearly all 1p battles and occasionally 2p for kicks.
What are the common icon types in 1p and/or 2p that I should be watching for and what pure defensive shield should I get to combat those.

I sorta wanted to have a set that could combat all icon types and defend most of the damage. Of course it'd be impossible to be able to block all.

As you can see in the set above, I'm looking for a viable shield and an upgrade from GC, possibly a dual-duty. Options such as: Mask of Coltzan....? etc

Bascially my questions are:
What are the common icon types in 1p and/or 2p that I should be watching for?
What pure defensive shield should I get to combat those icon types?
What is a good upgrade for me from GC that would fit my set?

Unless you have a 550Def pet or higher, a lot of pure shields are going to be pretty useless against a lot of 1p opponents after you beat them past the initial wins (many of which can be beaten without the use of the sheild at the level.) The most useful items defensive items for 1p battling if you don't have that huge defense boost are full blockers or % reflectors.

The think about 1p is that since you can customize your set for whatever opponent you are fighting, your set will fluctuate a lot depending on the opponent.

Some common ones that ive seen people use are:

Ring of the Lost
Winged Scarab/YYBPS
Pirate Captains Hat
U-bend Of Great Justice
Flame Reflectozap
RoW/ShoS/TTD (these are all pretty expensive though, and in my mind probably some of the least useful of the weapons ive suggested)

Thanks dude. I've been beating myself up for not buying a RotL when they were 4 mill, now they are 9 mill !! ANGRY! Is it still worth it to buy RotL for 9 mill? If only I bought 2 of them at 4 mill ZZ
