Back into battling, set needs update
Well, cross country is almost over for me (1 more week), so I'm starting to plan for when I have free time to battle and updating my weapon set. This set hasn't been touched in at least 4 months, and I see that there are a lot of new weapons that I could consider.
Disco Kacheek Level 64 127 Str 104 Def 127 HP My set: Purple Sticky Hand Snowglobe Staff Kacheek Life Potion Stone Club Stone Club Honey Potion Scarab Ring Downsize! I plan to only play 1 player battles, so easily defended icons aren't a big deal. If I ever do need to use my snowglobe staff, it's either as freeze-or-withdraw tactic or a last ditch attempt to win. And I don't really like the honey potion much, but I see that it is inflating a little right now, so I might hold on to it and hope it keeps going up. My budget is around 600k at the max, and my only income is the dailies and the stock market, so there's no way to tell how much I can make. I could also be training more, but I don't plan to train my strength any more for a while. If I do any training, it will probably be HP because the only weapon that depends on defense is the scarab ring, and I only use that if I ever want to finish off an opponent at 2 or 3 hp without causing a tie. So, any advice on training or changing weapons? Any advice is greatly appreciated, and please point out newer weapons that I could benefit from.

Only 1 player? Then training is probably the best thing you can do right now.
Get dual Scuzzys comb IF you think the 2 extra icons are worth the extra 400k. Otherwise... Snowglobe Staff Kacheek Life Potion Honey Potion Downsize! Golden Compass x2 SDB Essence of esophagor x2 Purple Sticky Hand (Swap the Golden Compasses with the essence of essophagors depending on what your opponent can block. Put in the sticky hand if your opponent has something worth stealing.) If you aren't going to train strength, you might want to take a look at prickly potion. |
