Looking for 1p Set advice.
My price range is about 600k. I typically play only 1p. No stealers please.
Species: Bori Level: 26 Health: 49 / 49 Strength: EXCELLENT (40) Defence: GREAT (35) -Current Equipment- Downsize! Scuzzys Comb Blue Scorchstone Golden Compass Frozen Wand of Crystals Cloudy Wand of Storms Scarab Ring Leaf Shield -SDB BD Items- Ice Club Radioactive Muffin Stone Muffin Sinsis Crown Flaming Oven Gloves Jade Elixir King Kelpbeards Blessing |

Okay, keep these:
Downsize! Scuzzys Comb Blue Scorchstone Golden Compass Leaf Shield Remove: Frozen Wand of Crystals Cloudy Wand of Storms Scarab Ring Scarab ring is weak for the NP you currently have, and Frozen Wand of Crystals and Cloudy Wand of Storms only do less than 8 offensive icons, also making them weak for your budget. Add: Black Frost Cannon Scuzzys Comb Patched Magical Hat You do 1p, so you don't need to do multiple icon types. Overloading in 1p is good, because it reduces the chances that part of the attack will be blocked. I think it is time Okay, a set needs a freezer. Go with Black Frost Cannon. You're down to 275k. You should also be able to get a Scuzzys Comb with the remaining money. Sell something like a Frozen Wand of Crystals, Cloudy Wand of Storms, or an Ice Club so you can pick up your final weapon, Patched Magical Hat. Your set should look like: Downsize! Scuzzys Comb Blue Scorchstone Golden Compass Leaf Shield Black Frost Cannon Scuzzys Comb Patched Magical Hat Best RS: |

Why should I have both Patched Magic Hat and Leaf Shield? They have two out of three icon types in common. It's seems like I could just throw in a light dual-duty for the same effect and a much cheaper price.

I'm not sure your wands are going to be very great in 1 player. Dual Duties are not as great if they defend 3 icons, when the strength boost is much higher.
I think there is an obvious thing missing from your set which is a bomb. Honey Potion is not far away if you sell both the wands. Use a Snowglobe Staff for now, but upgrade to Black Frost Cannon asap, the breaking of Snowglobe staff will probably drive you insane! Seeing as you have the defence, maybe you might want a Sword of the dead. Normally you may go for Ethereal Sword but since this is one player and not every opponent has a Golden Compass, you may benefit from the extra icon Sword of the dead deals. So, all in all... Downsize! >>> Keep Scuzzys Comb >>> Keep Blue Scorchstone >>> Keep, upgrade to Greater Healing Scroll when you have over 80 health. Golden Compass >>> Keep Frozen Wand of Crystals >>> Swap with a Honey Potion Cloudy Wand of Storms >>> Swap with a Snowglobe Staff for now Scarab Ring >>> This is a great weapon even at the 85 boosts, buy a Sword Of the Dead and alternate depending on which icon the opponent favours! Leaf Shield >>> I really don't know what to say, this will win half your battles in 1 player and even has uses in 2 player, if your opponent doesn't do earth and water you may want a Prickly Potion in your sdb to swap in and out. I didn't think 6 icons regardless if they were reflected or not, would help, but it's good for the first round, or if you're trying to edge out a victory, you can use improved defend/defend and the attack will stay the same. However it costs a bit of cash, so this is the kind of 'luxury' item if you like. The key to winning 1 player isn't necessarily brute strength, but strength in-depth. Good luck to you in the battledome. |

I like Yoz's suggestion more, but I want to add that for the past few plots and DoN opponents, I am beginnning to see more light being defended by the 1-player opponents. So I would recommend something like an Essence of Esophagor as a back up for such events.

I advised you to keep it because you don't have to use them together and you also never know if someone would overload. But it's your decision, and you decide if you want it or not. Best RS: |
