Tales of Symphonia
Does anybody play this game? I love this RPG. (mainly because you need fighting skills too, unlike neoquest, which anyone can beat)

RE: Tales of Synphonia
I <3 the game....love the realtime fighting with 4 characters on at the same time, anime style, characters, and everything about it ^_^ the story was awesome too...as well as the good custimization of the characters
![]() I wouldn't say that there are people who can't beat it though...its fairly simple and as long as you're highly lvled and have the other 3 cpu characters are alive its rather easy I think O.o...the Grade also gave it good replay value Sorry all my thoughts are kinda jumbled...just wrote whatever came to mind, but I really loved the game ^_^

RE: Tales of Synphonia
I loved this game. Great story, great characters, great game mechanics. I stopped playing on my second time through the game after I hadn't played for a while and forgot what I needed to do to unlock stuff.
Check out my anime ratings

RE: Tales of Synphonia
Glorious, glorious game! Nothing else on the GameCube even comes close in my opinion! (Yes, not even Pokemon
) Story and characters are absolutely top-notch (as good as an anime, really, and that's high praise) and the gameplay is unique in a good sense. I fanboy-ed about this for a long while after my first play-through. Overtraining beats it much like most other RPGs though, so I wouldn't call it that hard to beat. I know I blindly blew through the game the first time because I wanted to get to the ending....Ironically though, I find the anime OVA adaptation for this (running now) horrible, for all my ravings about the game being as good as an anime. ![]() <3 Sigh_Driven |

RE: Tales of Synphonia
Yes, this game is just awesome. However, you still need some skill, (fighting the enemies), as it's fast paced, and you can't just stall and move your controller slowly. And yes, overtraining does help, but it's still a lot harder to beat than most games.

RE: Tales of Synphonia
Yep, probably pursues the storyline most opposed to the one I always go for. *pokes spoiler in earlier post*

RE: Tales of Synphonia
Is the anime in japanese only? O_o and is there anyway I can dl it for free from somewhere?
![]() Edit: and while searching for the ToS anime I came upon this from the wiki article "Namco Bandai are planning a follow-up to Tales of Symphonia entitled Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk for the Wii That will feature 2 new characters and a world map that uses the Wii Remote to point and click a destination. Knight of Ratatosk will use Tales of the Abyss' Flex Range Linear Motion Battle System." ZONG!
