RE: Prickly Potion
OK.

You use it, you deal 3 reflected dark, and 3 reflected fire. Those icons are multiplied by both stance multipliers BUT uses YOUR OPPONENT's STR instead of your own.

RE: Prickly Potion
So using a pair of Prickly Potions against an opponent with a higher str boost than my pet would hurt my opponent badly?

RE: Prickly Potion
Well, it would throw them off since they'd expect a low damage attack from such a low booster.

RE: Prickly Potion
Read the ratings on the weapon. They actually give you a good idea of how useful it is. Don't expect to beat every single opponent that is stronger than you just because you use their boosts to attack. Remember, they use their boost too, and their weapons tend to be stronger than yours.

In my opinion, the prickly potion really shines in 1P, but in 2P, you'll still probably lose to a stronger pet (unless the difference isn't high and they're using weapons even worse than yours, but how likely is that?)

Yes, but it needs to be a lot higher than yours to be really impressive. If their Str boost multiplier is 150% of yours (such as if they have the 200 boost and you are only 125 boost) , then the 6-icon P-Pot will deal the same damage you would deal with a 9 icon weapon. Thus, P-Pot isn't generally useful in 2p, unless you are gaming the NCW league with an exceedingly low Str "tank" pet. In 1p fights such as DON or trying to max out war challengers you may end up fighting against opponents with up to 700 Str boost, so in those cases P-Pot is amazingly good. I've seen pets with 35 Str and 65 hp beat the space faerie using a pair of them.

However, since reflected icons aren't normally blockable (if you click "go" first they are completely unblockable), they do have some minor use against very high defense "tank" pets in 2p in the lower NCW leagues.

RE: Prickly Potion
In my opinion, Prickly Potion should really only be used for one player or in 2p when you are equal boosts and just need to get through something like FTab+GShield. You opponent will likley have better weapons than 6 iconers, so they are going to outdamage you. Although, it might work against stronger 2p opponents if you have a very large HP advantage over them.
