Get 6 strength points
Any suggestions to increase strength fast? (please, don't suggest twisted potion of strength)

Here are my stats

coolcool860
HP: 200
STR: 81
DEF: 42

I am nearing the 85 boost, and I want to make it to the 85 boost in a couple of days spending 150k-. I don't want to lab because I might get my HP up to the next codestone level. I still need 20 more levels before I can train Strength, so please don't suggest codestones either.

RE: Get 6 strength points
There is no way to solely increase 6 STR with 150k . Just give up .

Second'd.

Cool Negg (which raises HP as well as Strength), Ferocious Negg, and Power Negg all exceed that cost. Twisted Potion of Strength (which you said not to recommend), Essence Of Drackonack, Greater Earthen Potion, and Strength Serum are the better options, but are still well above your 150K budget. Gambling with two Essences is about all you could do, but odds are you'd only pull 1 Strength out of that.

Strength Serum is the best option overall, but it would still take more than one, and at 300K+ a pop, that doesn't sound like an option for you.

What you mean is "There is no way to solely increase 6 Str with 150k without risking a HP increase unless you can train in the schools."

Your only hope is to try restocking in Kayla's and hoping to get Str Serums or Essence of Drackonack there. The odds of RSing enough of them to do that in your timeframe are pretty low, so my advice is:

Suck it up and take your chances with the Lab Ray and K-Quests. Those will get you 6 Str for under 150k inside a week or two. Remember to visit Turmacoulus (picovadme petpage has times) and Coltzan's Shrine as much as possible. Augment your leveling with Terror Troves and focus on the more reasonable goal of getting to the point where you can train before you hit 240 hit points and move up ANOTHER codestone. With 41 hit points to go you should be able to do that.

RE: Get 6 strength points
using 150k to Gamble and win over 10 mil (e.g, Grarrl Keno )
then you can buy some Strength Serum...

seriously
k-quest should be the best way though still not 100%

and you can try refreshing
there is a random event that can increase str...though it is less than 0.000001 % to happen

RE: Get 6 strength points
K-quests are probably your best bet if 150k is your price. You can do up to 10 quests a day(site-wide total) and there's a chance you could earn 6 points of strength in the few days that you're looking for. Also, running around the site might get you a random faerie quest that could increase your strength... Or, does Coltzan perhaps give out strength? You might get lucky from a visit there. I once got.. I think it was 5 points of defense in one visit.(screenshot available but I have to find where I uploaded ita s it was a couple of years ago)

Other than that, or restocking some potions that have a chance of giving you some strength, I'd say Kitchen quests are your best bet. And don't be afraid to let the time run out, if the items asked for are more expensive than you want to chance, then don't do it.

The one problem for you and kitchen quests is that you're close to the next codestone training level with your HP. And K-quests CAN give you HP too. Turmy might be the best bet. I saw someone mention that. Just hope you wouldn't be risking a valuable petpet to him.

Best of luck.

RE: Get 6 strength points
I wouldn't worry about the next codestone training level
the NPs saved from k-questing FAR outweigh the extra NPs for 1 codestone

I guess you can play a lot and hope for fire faerie quests? Toungue

RE: Get 6 strength points
I guess Turcumalus and Faerie Quests is my only option. Since I eventually plan on raising my strength to 200, and if I get my HP to 201, I'm going to have to spend roughly another 700,000NP.

Also, I don't want to do one more kitchen quest because I might risk getting my HP to 201.

Are you one of those people who drives to the next state to save a nickel on a gallon of gas? Do you miss days of work to clip coupons?

Let's do some math, shall we. You are currently at 200 HP, 81 Str and 42 Def. Since you need 20 levels before you can train, I'm going to assume that you are level 80. You say you'd like to get to 200 Strength.

If you do that by training optimally using solely the training school, you are going to first train 20 more levels at a total cost of 80 codestones. You will then have to train your Strength 119 points, at 4 codestones per point, or a total cost of 476 codestones. Thus the optimal path here is going to cost you 556 codestones (minus super bonuses, which I can't predict)

For the sake of argument, let's say that the combination of the lab ray and K-Quests hand you 40 more hit points during the time you're training level. In that case you'll have to train 40 more levels at a total cost of 80 + (5x20) = 180 codestones, and it will now take you 119 x 5 = 595 codestones to train Strength to 200. Thus this case would cost you 775 codestones. That is a substantial cost increase, but you have the same stats AND ALSO 40 more HP. Please note that those 40 HP would have cost you 160 additional codestones, but I'm not going to go that route as you said you didn't want the HP so it shouldn't figure into the calculations.

Instead I'll just note that 556 / 775 = 71.7% and therefor ANY method whatsoever of training which gets you strength at less than 71.7% of the cost of codestones is a win here. Since Coltzan's Shrine, Labbing and Turmaculous are free, the conclusion should be obvious.

Kitchen Quests are a bit trickier to evaluate:

Going with Pez's K-quest data, K-Quests seem to give Strength about 15% of the times when they give stats. Sadly, that data doesn't mention just how often K-Quests give stats, but I'll ballpark that at 25% (which is likely a low estimate). Going with those figures, each K-Quest has about a 4% chance to give strength, about a 4% chance to give defense, about an 8% chance to give a hit point and about a 4% chance to give a level. So if all you care about is strength, then K-quests will only be worthwhile if they cost less than 3% of the cost of codestone training, which will come out to about 600 NP to 750 NP, divided by your number of pets. If however you care about defense, hit points, and level as well as strength, they are worth doing at 5x that price.

RE: Get 6 strength points
from my k-quests data (about 3500 I think) my stats (hp, str, def, lvl, mov) are about 35% of the time, with HP being twice as likely as the other stats
so you have about a 5.8% chance of getting any given stat, except HP which is 11.5%

NPs and items are about 32-33% each

hope this helps

RE: Get 6 strength points
rabid:

He said he needed 20 levels in order to train Hp, not in order to train other stats! That would mean level is more like 45, rather then 80.
