5 MIL budget
Hey guys, what's the best set I can get for around 5 mil?
Stats: Techo Level: 55 Health: 110 Strength: 110 Defence 85 Movement 70 Intelligence 260 1 and 2 Player (2 Player mostly, 1 more for wars, etc) I dont mind changing species, I was thinking about getting either a Lenny Lasso or Chia Goggles. What would be the cheapest route? (Morphing included) Thanks for the help. |

RE: 5 MIL budget
First, go for the lenny morphing (Entangling Lenny Lasso is cheaper than Icy Chia Googles, also, then when you have the money lennies has their own species healer (Bag of Lenny Healing Seeds), and the lenny morphing is only 180k)
I think the money left is better for get a pair of decent attackers (Ramtors Spellbook), a bomb (Honey Potion), a Healer (Greater Healing Scroll), THE blocker (Downsize!), a nice shield (Leaf Shield) and a Stealer (Heavy Robe of Thievery) What's the worst that I can say? Things are better if I stay! So long and goodnight, So long and goodnight! |

RE: 5 MIL budget
Is the lenny lasso + morph cheaper than the Icy chia goggles + morph? I heard it would be better to go with the chia? just making sure. Hmm, i'm not planning on getting the species healer though, and dont chia morphs go for 100k? i'll check it out, thanks

RE: 5 MIL budget
Okay, this is what I think that you should do.
![]() Okay, I will give my advice on the freezer and the healer first, because I have sort of linked the advice for these 2 together. ![]() Get an Entangling Lenny Lasso for your freezer, and morph your pet to a lenny For your healer, the only option that is really there is to get a Greater Healing Scroll. This will heal a little less than half your hitpoints, but there is no other options currently. What you need to do is to start saving to upgrade the Entangling Lenny Lasso to either a H4000 Helmet or a Freezing Potion because these aren't species weapons. That way, you could then morph your pet to a Kacheek and get a Kacheek Life Potion You will probably have around 2 million neopoints left now, though I am not 100% sure about the price of the Entangling Lenny Lasso at the moment. Though ususally, it sits at around 3 million I think. For the rest of your set, I would just reccomend the following: Downsize! - this is a must have in pretty much all battlesets. Once per battle, 50% block. Honey Potion - Great after freeze bomb to go with the Entangling Lenny lasso. This will cost you around 800k, and does a minimum of 13 icons, once per battle! Purple Sticky Hand The best value stealer before you have the requirments for the Heavy Robe of Theivery. Unfortunatly, it only steals from the first slot and is not 100% though. Just put it in your first slot, so that if an opponent uses one on you, all they will get is one back. Against opponents with battlesets a lot better than yours though, it might come in handy. That probably leaves roughly a million for your main attacking weapons. For these, I would just reccomend that you get a Ramtors Spellbook, and a Golden Compass. The RSB does 10 icons, though these can be easy to block sometimes. However, all 10 will rip right through burrow, which is a definite plus. The GoC does 9 icons that are near impossible to completly block with shields at this battle level. Plus, it does 3 dark defence that can come in handy. For that eighth slot, get 2 weapons. A Jittery Jupple Potion and a Steaming Skeem Potion. Both these weapons do more damage, depending on what your opponents intellegence is. Check your opponents intellegence before each battle, and just equip the one that you require. If the opponents intellegence is between 10 and 19, then use the JJP If it is above 20, then use the SSP If it is below 9, then neither of these weapons are as good. Though you would be best to just equip the SSP, and use it as a back up weapon because it will still do 8 icons.

heidirose12345 Wrote:Okay, this is what I think that you should do. Wow, thanks a lot heidirose ![]() The freezer/healer idea sounds great. Although i've seen the Goggles go for 2.2 recently, and if the Lasso goes for less than that, i'd have 800k more to spend. I was just suggested a Dusty Magic Broom (1.3) to make use of my defence boost. Would this be a good weapon to pair up with the Golden Compass suggestion? The Honey Potion is a definite and I like the Jittery Jipple Potion and Steaming Skeem Potion ideas as they are cheap yet effective. So how does this set look? 1. Jittery Jipple Potion/Purple Sticky Hand 2. Steaming Skeem Potion/Scarab Ring 3. Golden Compass 4. Dusty Magic Broom 5. Honey Potion 6. Entangling Lenny Lasso 7. Greater Healing Scroll 8. Downsize! |

RE: 5 MIL budget
I see that your defence boost is only on 85, and your strength boost is coming towards 125. If you want to use dual dutys, then you really need to keep them even, so you should start training defence again and make sure that it gets to 125 at around the same time that strength does.
I would stay away from the Scarab Ring. They are a beginners weapon, and I really hate seeing them getting used beyond the 35 boosts. The reason for this is because for a dual duty to be worth it, it need to have done more damage than the opponents weapon has once it has blocked some of your opponents weapon. The best you will ever do with the scarab ring is to break even. Ususally you lose out though. I don't know how clear that was, so if you would like me to clarify then just say so here/ PM me. ![]() I tend to think that the Dusty Magic Broom is a little overpriced at times. It isn't a bad weapon though, I actually owned one myself at one stage and really enjoyed it. With light and dark being so common, it isn't bad being able to block both of them. The Golden Compass paired with is would be an awesome combination to get a nearly 100% block when used with burrow. I don't usually reccomend it, because of the fact that it is overpriced a little, and some people don't like that, but if it is worth it to you then go for it! Ramtors Spellbook Just don't get the Scarab Ring though. ![]() I wouldn't put the Steaming Skeem Potion and the Jittery Jipple Potion in first slots though, or swap them with the Purple Sticky Hand because you would have to unequip everything to get them in, which puts you at risk to random events. ![]() If the googles are cheaper, then get those.
