What its the best game of Zelda?

Hi, im bored so im guessing, what its the best game of zelda ever? i dont mind on what plattform, only the best and if you have played it, in what length of time you finished it, ect ect.
ahh and i forgot if you are going to post try to have an idea of each game of zelda (isnt too hard... i have it...)

Ocarina of time was AWSOME. Twilight princess was pretty good, but very repetitive, and honestly, a bit boring :<. Ocarina of time takes the cake though, hands down! I still play it, and you can't even describe it's pwnage =0. it winz.

In my opinion, the original NES Zelda. I prefer it over OoT because I like the 2D combat much better than the 3D. And the second quest really ups the challenge. I also liked Link's Awakening for the same reason, minus the second quest. Link's Awakening had better controls, actual people to talk to, and better dungeons (the puzzles, I mean), but less of a challenge. Ocarina of Time certainly wasn't bad either.

The only people you could talk to in the original Zelda were the ones in shops: "Hey, buy something why don't ya?" "We play money making game."

Twilight Princess for me, Ocarina of Time a close second. As someone whose first console was the GBC, I'm afraid that when I finally got a chance to try out the original Zelda games on the classic consoles, it came with the "Ew, dated graphics" effect, so they weren't given much of a chance to make an impression on me. I suspect I'd think differently if I'd played the Zelda games as they came. Instead I'm someone who has a soft spot for Minish Cap on the GBA, lol.

Uhm, there's a lot of Zelda games to decide just for one, I see also a big difference between the 2d and the 3d ones.

"A link to the past" would be my favourite 2d Zelda game, "Ocarina of Time," my favourite 3d game ("Twighlight Princess" could have this place if it were longer and more of a challenge), and finally Link's Awakening would win my award of best Zelda Game in a Portable Console. (I'm awaiting for that "Phatom Hourglass" one for the DS to arrive to possibly take this position)

My first console was also the GBC... The old Zelda games also just seem really boring (and oddly hard O_o) to me...I however fell in love with OoT, and would always play it with my next door neighbor (I didn't have a n64 then)...I'm guessing it was because it was the first game I'd played with such emotion and story that it envoloped me so much. When TP came out I felt so elated to see something close to OoT, however I don't think it brought up all the feelings I had when I played OoT. I still felt the elatedness from OoT from my preorder package, and therefore, I must say OoT is my fav ^_^

I liked the Seasons/Ages series for GBC because of the connectivity, but I also havn't played any other portable ones besides minish cap, which was also good.

I played quite a few zelda games. I have to pick Ocarina of Time, simply since it was just epic. The story line, the dungeons and the new tricks/items. I still remember fighting those creepy zombies that would just jump on you. I remember doing the insane water temple. It took so long but it was worth it since the boss was pretty cool and I get to fight a shadow mirror of myself. I remember fighting against Ganon's true form... So many great memories

Twilight Princess was good too. But after playing so much LoZ, I think jaka is right about the repetitive

I don't know the name but the zelda on the SNES was simply amazing. best one I've played by far.
