Need advice for battling Monstrous Moach.

I'm trying to get in some more wins on the Moach today before she's taken down, but at 21 wins, it has become quite difficult to beat her. What weapons/tactics do you suggest?

Here are my pet's stats:

Health: 365 / 365
Strength: AMAZING (97)
Defence: GREAT (30)
Move: AWESOME (74)
Intelligence: very clever

His current species is Koi.

He's a lab pet, so his stats are constantly changing.

Here are his weapons:

Downsize!,
Scarab Ring,
Fighting Folder,
Koi Battle Gloves,
Blue Scorchstone,
Gold Handled Katana.
(I went ahead and unequipped the items I wasn't using.)

As you can clearly see from my set, my budget is extremely limited.

if you really need to beat him, you should try to buy some snowballs. they do more damage than you're regular weapons, and they aren't expensive

maybe you should buy a defence weapon as well??

I try to stay away from pure shields, because of my low defence.

I bought Koi Battle Gloves. But they don't seem to be serving me well yet.

I would say sell your Blue Scorchstone and replace it with a Greater Healing Scroll.

You would need to get some bombs like the Honey Potion, but since your budget is small. Go with some Icy Eye Snowball or Sand Snowballs.
Icy Eye Snowball would be unblockable but more expensive
Sand Snowball would be blockable sometimes but cheaper.

The problem is that most of your weapons has icon that could be block by the Moach.

If you want defense, get the Patched Magic Hat because it is quite effective against the Moach but the Hat is overly inflated.

Your best bet is Pearly Koi Bubble Net and a large amount of patience.

But you'd also be smart to upgrade your Scarab Ring to an Obsidian Dagger, Battle Ready Pencil Box, or another Gold Handled Katana (they don't seem to have inflated) as the defense is neglible for you.

Blue Scorchstone is likewise very inferior to Greater Healing Scroll for a pet with your stats. The overheal is just not as meaningful as healing 20 more HP.

For faerie abilities, use burrow to negate one turn's damage, and then use Regeneration or Healing Vapor to heal 100+ damage.

If you're going with single use items, consider Thick Smoke Bomb for another safe turn, Potion of Concealment for the full earth block, Jade Elixir to heal a few hundred more hit points than your currrent healer. Ultranova is also good, as are any of the 15 icon Muffins (Brain, Robot, Smelly Dung, Shooting Star, etc). But those might break your budget.

If you had a budget to work with, I would strongly recommend, Sinsi Helm, which is still buyable, and will cut the Moach's absolute maximum damage (once she's the 700 boost) to about 250 damage in a turn so long as you use 1.0 stance (species attack/faerie ability/cautious attack)
