RE: Tournament Set/Pet?
You seem to know alot about the battledome already, especially if your planning on competing in a tourny
. Your sets are really fine, but are you sure the cost of buying muff's for each battle wont stack up on you?

RE: Tournament Set/Pet?
Nah, I don't think the cost would be too much because in a tournament there wouldn't be too many battles.. plus I'm not really low on NP at the moment.
I was just wondering if someone had some other suggestions from real BD/tournament experience.. like what weapons are actually really common? What bombs should I watch out for? What are the most common shields (to avoid them with my attackers of course)? Things like that

RE: Tournament Set/Pet?
Your gonna want something to get through g-shield. Steaming skeem potion does a good ammount of fire and water through g-shield. Problem is, at that level, many people are going to have drained int to get around the potions int requirement.
So baisically, look into the steaming skeem potions. |

RE: Tournament Set/Pet?
Quote:I was looking over at the NCW site and was reading the different limitations. I could be mistaken about this, but I was under the impression that those restrictions were only for their "Guild Wars" tournament. I do not beleive that those restrictions are in effect for all 2p tournaments. "Siggy? whats the real name of the item? *sigh* im new to this whole battledome items....so, sorry! " |

RE: Tournament Set/Pet?
They aren't in effect for all tournaments rabid, but the rules, or a close variation of them are in effect for quite a large number of them. They have specific tournaments that limit budgets to no more than 100k, and they have tournaments that allow all weapons, but the majority have rules like the guild wars in place. At least, that's as far as I'm aware, but I was away from NCW for quite some time, and I never did make it to staff.

RE: Tournament Set/Pet?
The restrictions Joe10 is talking about are only for the Guild Wars, we do a mix of straight 2P and limited weapons tourneys. With the limited weapons we used different restrictions throughout the year to mix up the tourneys. The Guild War restrictions are special only to that tourney.

RE: Tournament Set/Pet?
Absolutly, do you also change the league calculator ever?
Because what if I want to train a pet up to the max possible stats for one league, will it ever change and then I'd be bumped up? EDIT: Also, will those be the same rules for the next Guild Wars? When will that be? |
