need some advice on what i should do.
Level : 43
Health : 79 / 79 Strength : AWESOME (62) Defence : AWESOME (64) Current Set : HP, EoE, Scuzzys Comb, Greater Healing Scroll, Downsize, Snowglode Staff and a Scarab Ring. My question is whether i should focus on training my pet now or getting better weapons. As my pet is above lvl 40, it uses more codestones to train it. should i wait for deadly dice to decrease its lvl? is there any other way to decrease its lvl? i cant risk using the lab as it may increase hp then ill be really screwed. i have around 5-6million to spend, what should i do? Edit : i mostly do 1 player, maybe 90% of the time so yeah. and i have all of the important faerie ablities. |

RE: need some advice on what i should do.
Are you a 1 player or a 2 player battler?
That will affect your choices that you make for this. ![]() Looking at your current sent, I am led to believe that you are more of a 1 player batter, because of the fact that the Essence of Esophager and the Scuzzys Comb are more used in 1 player battling than in 2 player battling. Firstly, if you havn't gotten the faerie abilities Burrow and Sink yet, then that should be your first move. I am sure that you already have them, but am mentioning it just incase you do not. I'd reccomend training using the training school, to get to the 85 defence boost, and the 85 strength boost. You are already a bit of the way towards them, so may as well get them. You are currently paying 3 codestones per course, which can get a little costly, so maybe also doing very cheap Kitchen Quests each day might get the cost down a little bit. They sometimes give out stats, but not always, so maybe just do the ones that are below 2k - 3k. ![]() Next thing I would look at if I was you is Morphing your pet to a lenny and getting an Entangling Lenny Lasso. These currently sell for less than 3 million, and are a 100% lenny freezer. As long as you don't mind changing your pets appearence, this is the cheapest 100% freezer that you can get, so you may as well make the most of it while you aren't using any other species weapons. This reliable freezer will allow you to make best use out of your Honey Potion as a freeze bomb. After that, I am thinking that you would still have a bit left over, maybe around 2 million? With that, I would reccomend upgrading your Essence of Esophager to an 11 iconer. You have several to choose from, depending on how much you want to spend, and whether you battle 1 player or 2 player. Bzzt Blaster Garoo Elite Blaster Goo Blaster Fungus Ray Also, a Purple Sticky Hand is often something good to have in a battleset. While a lot of 2 player opponents just put junk in their first slot (the slot that the sticky hand steals from) there are some people that won't. Also, there are a few 1 player opponents that have good weapons in their first slot that you can steal from them to help defeat them. Unfortunatly TNT disables them in wars though. Put it in your first slot, so that if your opponet steals one of your weapons, all they will get is the sticky hand meaning that they have wasted a turn. ![]() I question the value of a Scarab Ring at your battle level, It doesn't block common icons, Fire is quite rare really, and if it did block anything, it would be very little, it does only does 6 damage, your opponents attack will be stronger than it, probably even after it has blocked anything. About the best it will do is allow you to be even with a Sword Of Apocalypse . You block all the fire, and on average all the physical, with a chance of one or two physical still getting through. You give your opponent 6 icons, you receive the 5 dark, and maybe one or two physical. All you have done is come even, that has really little benefit. And not all opponents even use the SoA anyway. You will come even against a few of the 9 iconers as well, but like I said, this has no real benefit, especially if you have an 11 iconer instead. Was a nice weapon at lower level battling, but it has served its purpose now. EDIT: Now that you say that you do 1 player, and not 2 player, that more makes me think that you need to get rid of that scarab ring. ![]() It would help if you say whether you are a 1 player or 2 player battler though.

RE: need some advice on what i should do.
Remember, if you are going to train both STR and DEF, do one at a time...
first train your STR to 85 and focus on that, then when you have STR at 85, you can start benefitting from the new STR boost, and then start training DEF... If you train them back and forth, you will get to both of them having 85 boost at the same time as you would with training STR first and then DEF (or DEF then STR), but you do not get the extra benefits as fast... I hope that helps you a little... EDIT: Rabid is actually correct, get both to 80 and then move up. I forgot that the training moved up a level right before a boost! Whoops

RE: need some advice on what i should do.
Since you battler mostly 1p, you should train. Then you should train. Then you should train some more.
The 85 Str boost is a 25% increase to the damage dealt by ALL your weapons, which is the same increase in effectiveness as if you were to upgrade your EoE to an 11 icons weapon, your Scuzzy's Comb to a 13 icon weapon and your Honey Potion to 18 icons No go compare the cost of codestones to the cost of Sword of Apocalypse, Bow of Destiny and Rainbow Clockwork Grundo, and you should see that training is a tiny fraction of the cost of upgrading to get a similar result. If you're ambitious, work out similar math for the increases for 85 to 125 Str and then against from 125 to 200, you may be surprised by the results. The only argument against training is that in 2p battling, battlers are generally divided by stats, but not by sets, so having a very expensive (and cost-inefficient) set is absolutely necessary to be competitive. But if you're battling in 1p, that doesn't apply. I'm going to disagree with joe10 though - at least in your case. As you're worried about costs, you need to train stats evenly up to 80. If any stat goes over 80, you'll be out of dubloon training range and have to spend more to train with codestones. Once you get everything to 80, then go ahead and jump Str up to 85 as fast as you can, but keep your costs low until then. "Siggy? whats the real name of the item? *sigh* im new to this whole battledome items....so, sorry! " |

RE: need some advice on what i should do.
For starters, you'd need a 100% freezer.
EoE and Scuzzys would both take a major hit from common defensive items as well. Especially the EoE, nobody should fear a Leaf Shield like that weapon does. tineforthx Wrote:another question i have is how much difference does a 1p and a 2p battleset have. lets say i want to fight in 2p now as well, what should i change and why? fighting around my level and stats.A lot of 2player opponents have a lot certain shields, like Leaf Shield. Because of that, not as many people buy the weapons that are easily blocked by that shield for 2 player battles. With 2p you have to worry more about the icon variety. Also, since you can't restart a match, 100% freezers are very important in 2player. Similarly, 1player weapons are usually better against the defeneses of 1 player opponents... Same with the shields - common 1p weapons do different icons, on average, then common 2p weapons |

RE: need some advice on what i should do.
Difference:
In one-player you want the most of a few icons as possible, in two-player you want hard to block or rare to block icons and icons that go through sink or burrow. If you changed your set now you'd need another weapon like golden compass or jittery jipple potion (2p-only) or steaming skeem potion (2p only), change your scuzzys comb to ramtors spellbook and upgrade snowglobe staff to black frost cannon because the staff can break. RE: need some advice on what i should do.
You should train to 85, then change weapons. Either wait for the prices to go back down because of the inflation and buy a TCG Blaster, or upgrade directly to NQII Insaners, as you have 5-6 mil to spend.
