Silver's Works In Process #1
I'm currently working on the top piece.. wondering if anyone has any suggetions for where I should head before I finish it..
I'm particularly wondering how y'all think the column he's wrapped around should look like ![]() ![]() For this piece, I'm up for any suggestions.. right now the hair is flat since I wanted to just place it then work on the mask first.. the mask isn't quite right

RE: Silver's Works In Process #1
The thickness that the upper part of the creature has does not match the lower thickness the creature has. It seems to go from, basically, fat to skinny in a short amount of time unless that column is a few feet in diameter
. I'd suggest making it seem as it's an endless, I'll refer to it as a 'snake', snake. Try adding more shadowing on the lower end of the tail and continue it down the column?

Hmm.. but it's a hissi and they're pretty short fat creatures.. but I guess I can take artistic leeway since I already changed the colours of the darigan hissi lmao

RE: Silver's Works In Process #1
Speaking of the new hissis, I was going to morph darklord into an Usuki Boy up until I found out painting a pet now automatically converts them into the newer version.
The newer version has these stubby oven mits as gloves they call hands :\'( |

RE: Silver's Works In Process #1
I don't really see anything wrong with the hissi. I like it a lot to be honest.
The mask picture I also like but its seems like the mask it too high. It looks like it is covering the persons eyesight and if there are eyeholes then that is obviously not the purpose. I love how you textured the mask. Very nice.

RE: Silver's Works In Process #1
Very nice work on the hissi, just a bit more shading and it will look great
![]() Same opinion as ben on the second image, I'm hoping that was intentional

RE: Silver's Works In Process #1
That was actually intentional because the mask had to be slightly misplaced somehow.. and I didn't feel like doing the eyes.. so I misplaced it upwards lol

I would just like to say I really like the Hissy so far.
I hope you get around to completing it.

RE: Silver's Works In Process #1
My personal taste: The pillar it wraps around is a tad too thick. It's taking away from the main subject of the picture, which is the hissi itself. It's still in the works so I can't comment further, just that maybe you can find some way to let it stay in the background? eg faint, darker colours, less strong bold lines.
Two cents worth
