Seeking one final round of sound advice
Species : Lenny
Level : 99 Health : 215 / 198 Strength : ULTIMATE (187) Defence : ULTIMATE (190) Move : AWESOME (64) Intelligence : ULTIMATE GENIUS (388) I have not yet purchased everything for my set, but I am planning to have a set that looks like this: I have already purchased and equipped these. Bag of Lenny Healing Seeds Entangling Lenny Lasso Skeletal Fire Gun Honey Potion Commander Blade Jittery Jipple Potion I am planning to and have the budget to purchase these and will equip these to my pet. Mask of Coltzan Wand of Reality I have already purchased but kept these in my SDB. Scarab Ring x 2 Flaming Oven Gloves Sinsis Crown Dazzling Steel Lenny Mask Purple Sticky Hand Miscellaneous 1 use items. My question: As most of you are aware, the Jittery Jipple Potion will deal the full 10 icons it can potentially deal with only to a two-player opponent with intel above 9. What would be a good second weapon for me to switch the Jittery Jipple Potion with, in a situation where I am fighting 1-player, or a pet with intel below 9? I am hoping beyond hope (that means I am still hoping ) that I can find someone selling the Sack Of Sneezing Powder at a reasonable price, but that in the meantime, I was thinking of either a Pike Pike, Essence of Esophagor or Scuzzy Comb.I have just hit 7.5 mil. So that is my budget right now (this INCLUDES the budget for MoC and WoR, but EXCLUDES budget for training to 200 boost). Most likely I will purchase these weaposn AFTER I reach that boost.

RE: Seeking one final round of sound advice
Sounds like you are doing really good on Neo since I last checked, well done (very well done), good luck and nice set! May I suggest Scuzzy's, based on the logic that: 1 Player = ignore icon types only worry about damage.

RE: Seeking one final round of sound advice
Icon types are next to useless in 1-player, so the 10 iconer autoomatically beats the 9-iconers

RE: Seeking one final round of sound advice
If you have that much money , I'd buy Bow of Destiny instead of 9 and 10 iconers .

RE: Seeking one final round of sound advice
Well, yes, I find those very true. But i am considering 2-player, low intel opponent scenario as well

The 7.5 mil INCLUDES budget for MoC ANd WoR which I will purchase after training. BTW, this was a suggestion given to me by VermontHermit a while back. He mentioned that if water defence was a concern for me I should look into Frozen Wand of Crystals or even Hobans Hat if I can afford the latter. I have considered that advice, and I thought I should just work on the Hat, thus skipping the Wand. Thanks, anyway, Lance!

RE: Seeking one final round of sound advice
Also if you have 13 iconers , You'll outgrow Commander Blade as well. I know you love the blade but I'll replace it by Hobans Hat if I were you .
But well , the blade's defense is unique so I think you'd like to keep it , which I won't protest using it . Chinese stock guide : http://www.neopets.com/~cleverjohn |

RE: Seeking one final round of sound advice
For 1p, Scuzzys Comb's 10 icons are the way to go (Unless Staff of Righteous Fury's price dips again before you buy).
For 2p, I'd recommend either Air Faerie Crown, for the predictable, but solid defensive combo with your Mask of Coltzan, or if that's out of your budget, then Psellias Fighting Fan to stack icons with your WoR to overrun shields. The predictable Golden Compass likewise works in that role. However as you seem to like unconvential weapons choices, perhaps you should consider Icy Battle Duck as another alternative. RE: Seeking one final round of sound advice
I'd repeat my sentiment that scuzzys comb would be best for 1p... If you're [u]REALLY[worried about low-int 2p, you can also run a Golden Compass...
On a side note... I don't see ANYONE selling a Sack Of Sneezing Powder... Because it's a cove item, I doubt you're gonna find a seller selling for less than you could buy the NQII 13 iconers for... which really isn't And while I'm nobody to be giving you 2 player advice, I don't see how the 5 earth+ 3 fire of Bow of Destiny or the 5 light and 3 physical of Wand of Reality Could be so much worse than the 5 dark of Sack Of Sneezing Powder... cutejohn291 Wrote:Also if you have 13 iconers , You'll outgrow Commander Blade as well. For now the Commander Blade serves it's purpose. Might not seem much on it's own, but when I do a Lenny Chatter (species ability) with the Blades, that is almost like another varitation of the WoR; 13 icons with defence. Pair that 'combo' with the WoR I am planning to get... whoosh! Dual 'WoRs', heh. rabid_schnauzer Wrote:For 2p, I'd recommend either Air Faerie Crown, for the predictable, but solid defensive combo with your Mask of Coltzan, or if that's out of your budget, then Psellias Fighting Fan to stack icons with your WoR to overrun shields. The predictable Golden Compass likewise works in that role. Air Faerie Crown is great, but a tad too many icons and fractional for my likingcompared to the Dusty Magic Broom, so i am inclined to purchase the latter instead. They are both out of my budget, though, so they will take some time. I like the icons Golden Compass deals with, and it's cheap, so I might consider it (even though I am not to sure if I am going to find the extra dark defence useful with the MoC, but you never know when a Sword of Skardsen might come along! ).rabid_schnauzer Wrote:However as you seem to like unconvential weapons choices, perhaps you should consider Icy Battle Duck as another alternative. Lol. It's just one of my personal overtly paranoid, calculative self at work. A Wand of Reality and Jittery Jipple Potion potion combo against a high intel pet in 2 player would have almost the same effect as a Bow of Destiny and Ramtors Spellbook combo: both combos sends 10 icons past both sink and burrow. But in my opinion, the latter is more common, thus predictable. It is also easily blocked by a Mask of Coltzan and Dusty Magic Broom combo. Both weapons can also be partially blocked by just one shield: Patched Magic Hat. What makes the WoR+JJP appealing for me is that it sends 10 uncommonly blocked air as an anti sink, together 5 dark + 5 light combo as an anti burrow. And since both weapons have air in them, they are both harder to block (RSB can have a bulk of its icons blocked by Ethereal Sword and Golden Compass for example.) As for how Sack of Sneezing Powder comes into the pic, I just don't want to continue worrying about having to switch weapons against 1-player and low intel pets . Anyway, I am one of those people who thinks that if I want that kind of power, I should just pay the price for it. As of now, the SoSP cost too much, even for me, but I'm still trying my luck! ![]() Anyway, since everyone mentioned Scuzzys Comb, would it be a good idea to just purchase that together with one of the other weapons you guys suggested, and switch around between 1 and 2 players? RE: Seeking one final round of sound advice
I'm gunna be different, I said EoE. I made this decision based solely on 2p battles (forgot to take 1p into account when I voted, lolz)
But, you're running alot of fire. Best thing to defend fire (cheaply)? Scarab ring. It's not much, but if you're running physical with it it's very tempting to get 12 net icons with the scarab ring. That's why I didn't say Scuzzys. The only other reason I said EoE over pike pike is because pike pike uses light, which alot of people will be carrying weapons to block. On the note of 1p, it could be said that most 1p opponents carry some kind of physical defense, making the Pike Pike or EoE the better choice. Scuzzys is 1 more icon though... I don't like shields and non-100% freezers... Challenge Swift_Rev14_6 if you are a 55 boost pet lookin for a fight (no 100% freeze ofcourse) BTW, 2p FTW! |
