[Shattered Rift]

Glancing back over the lists on NeoItems again, Neovian Attire (Prigpants & Swolthy, Tailors) is the only other clothing shop (besides Uni's Clothing). If I'm remembering right, the whole of Neovia was released to us in December, giving the Shop four months of solid restocking.

The only other times we've received Clothing have been as "useless" Advent items, and as War T-Shirts (the latter steadily raising in cost, and the former relatively sitting due to overabundance). Not to get anyone's hopes up (let alone my own), but the relative lack of Clothing items in the economy (261 that are tied to Uni's Clothing, and 21 in Neovian Attire, totaling around 282 total Clothing items) brings up two points. The more important one, speculation-wise, is that the Neovian Attire shop may hint that TNT was planning on creating Customise for some months now.

The latter comes up in two parts: there are very few Neovian Attire items in the economy, and most of them are below the ImproveNeo costs for them, or are still roughly equivalent. Despite a very low number of them on the Shop Wizard (which might imply no one cares to restock them), the price isn't increased to suggest that anyone's taking a chance at hoarding them yet. The second part is that there are 31 r99's from Uni's Clothing, and (according to ImproveNeo) 17 are buyable (with 4 of the unbuyable ones having a price listed). While these r99's are mostly ugly T-Shirts, they're also among the rarest Clothing on the site.

Random side note here: Customize beta is EXTREMELY lag inducing. Is it just me, or has TNT been switching to larger and larger (in terms of file size) codes/ graphics lately?) *unsure*

Everything was first converted to Flash (the Explore map, the Games Room, Neopia Central sometime before both of those), which is part of the problem. They're really not friendly to their dialup users anymore.

Heck, forget Dail-Up, it lags my high-speed DSL! *lol*

Ironically, they still don't support .pngs, the only advantages that .gifs and .jpgs have over pngs being file size.

Back on topics, I rechecked the prices of a few of the items I hoarded, and while a few lowered, some are also raising. I also got lucky enough to have two Fire Faerie Quests today, and some of the random Clothing items have also inflated.

For the most part, I think it's too late for anyone to jump on the hoarding train. This isn't to say profit isn't still there to be made, but it's a caution to anyone considering going in to make sure the prices on whatever they go after aren't already inflated, or are minimally inflated.

Only clothes that tagged with wearable tag can be wear by your neopets..so far i cant find one.
