RE: Classical Music
Having played the trombone for 4 years, I actually want to get out there and show the world what I can do...however, I'm still practising 4 hours a day...just playing Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier Book 1.

My friend introduced me to his music, and I've recently just learned Comptine d'un autre été. =)

Praise for Jupiter from me, too. In part because my HS alma mater melody comes from it. Toungue

mathbits, you seem really dedicated to music. As someone who wished she'd invested a little more time into practicing, I say to you, keep it up.

RE: Classical Music
Gee, I think I even learned guitar before getting a piano...

It was just 8 years ago or so when I bought my first and only 3/4 size classical guitar. Still play it today. I'm in need of an electric guitar, srsly. I wanna practise my Canon Rock and my Reptilia; this song is addicting.

And I shall keep it up, thanks.

Damn, I only practice 90 minutes a day. Very nice though. Good luck Smile
*tries to not turn this into a trombone discussion thread*

Question - Owl, how watered down was the version of Jupiter you played in orchestra? No way ANY 7th grade orchestra could pull it off XD
