Somebody help me to decide which to put in my battledome set...

I've finally gotten a Scuzzys Comb

and now my weapons are:
Blue Scorchstone
Golden Compass
Snowglobe Staff
Downsize!
Leaf Shield
Scarab Ring
Skeletal Fire Gun
Scuzzys Comb
Sword of the Dead

Flaming Oven Gloves
Purple Sticky hand

I know I should only equip my purple sticky hand and flaming over gloves against certain 1p challengers but I've got no idea which 8 to choose from from the remaining 9 weapons, some help please?

I'm doing both 1p and 2p

Your weapon lineup will probably also depend on which 1-player opponent you decide to fight. Some opponents may have good and so you might want to leave out Skeletal Fire Gun for that battle. Some opponents may not be able to and so you'd want to keep it in the set.

*has a low opinion of the actual usefulness of Leaf Shield... I'm not a fan of pure shields execpt of percentage pased ones like Downsize! and Reflectors... (and full blockers, of course )... especially for 1-player*

I agree with wilt, though... It depends on the battle.

Edit: I didn't realize that you had a Golden Compass AND a Scuzzys Comb. Because Icon types don't really matter in 1-player, You'll be leaving Skeletal Fire Gun out 99% of the time in 1-player. In 2 player, it's A tough call... I'd opt towards leaving out Leaf Shield, but I'm no expert on 2-p. When you need a 1-use bomb in 1-player, you might want to leave BOTH of those out, along with Scarab Ring if you need 2.

Upgrade your Scorchstone to Greater Healing Scroll when you reach 50+ HP. The gun is weak against quench, but strong against most else. Don't use it in 1-p though. If your using Golden Compass, don't get the gun, their icons are too similar, if one is being blocked the other will be.

When you need to delay battle for freeze, orcome up against Essence of Esophagor or similar. Consider changing to Patched Magic Hat (i prefer it)

My Favourite weapon, awesome icons/defense. Keep it for a long time

You chose it, its fine, careful of it being blocked in 2-p
-(sell others and buy)Stone Club/Essense of Esophagor
For when your being blocked. Pick one or the other. (one is obliterated by leaf shield, but is better vs defensive battlers of whom you usually will be using this against (EoE) one is more general use but more spread out)
-Sword of the Dead
Versus Scuzzy's/Ramtors it is useful, other times your weapons will be more effective
-Blue Scorchstone (or upgraded)
Heal!
-Snowglobe Staff
Im not a fan, it's your freezer though

For one-p, take out The Stone Club/EoE slot for sticky hand/special item for 1-p Decent set made mostly with your weapons.

In 2-p, at your level, SoTD would be useful. Leaf shield can be useful, but mostly only against stone club/ice club/EoE users
it's not as useful as it used to be IMHO because of the icon types released by TNT recently (more air and light, it seems)

you can keep ultrasteel helmet in mind (blocks 3 air, light, dark) if you ever need that kind of shield, too

snowglobe staff, is also not that useful in 2-p, since you would rather be doing icons than freezing 1/5 times most of the time

so, your set would probably change a little bit depending on what/who you're gonna be fighting (I also do it with my pet, when I fight 1p/2p)

Aw, so which shield do you all think I should change Leaf Shield with? I bought a patched magic hat recently but I sold it back because I realised that it doesn't has much use since I already have Sword of the Dead so should I buy an ultrasteel helmet and switch it with Leaf Shield depending on who I'm facing?


Edit: Just realised Mystical White Cloak blocks the same thing as ultrasteel helmet and is cheaper and looked cooler!
