Glamour Neggs: New Use?

Jittery Jipple Potions are currently dominating mid-low level 2 player.
D'you think that feeding your pet glamour neggs untill it got under 9 intelligence would be a good idea if your not planning to buy an intelligence based weapon anytime soon? Or would just buying an earthen scorchstone be a better option?

There are also plenty of people in BD Chat looking to use their Scroll Potions on willing victims. I'd take that route, given that all it takes is time, if you really want to lose the Intelligence. Whether it's worth sacrificing Intelligence is up to you.

It actually does seem like a good idea for low-level battlers to keep intelligence as low as possible for the time being, unless it's already fairly high. Glamour Neggs seem like a pretty expensive way of going about it, but if you're desperate to quickly reduce your opponent's set to a pair of 6-iconers, it would be faster than waiting for someone to Scroll Potion you.

I guess an important part of deciding would be to consider how much intelligence you have to lose, and what level of battling you're at. Obviously, at low-end battling, you won't have the HP to need 750 intelligence for a Crisp Blue Tunic, and you probably won't have the np for a Heavy Blue Tunic. By the time intelligence should matter for your pet, I doubt you'll still be facing 10-iconers (though I might very well be wrong).

Granted, slowly working towards 750 or 1000 intelligence is probably better in the long run than trying to buy 500+ books last-minute, but there's no reason you couldn't just buy books and keep them in your SDB until JJPs are no longer common in your stat range.

I forgot about scroll potion, my intellegence is only 20 or so I won't be losing too much. I think I'll go that route

I found someone to scroll potion me down below 9, it took an hour of bumping a board on the BD chat once every 10 mins or so. but ya if you don't need the intel why bother randomly getting beat up by JJP/SSP
