Vs Noobinators
If you come up against somebody with an insane set (who lied to you, or maybe quickfight), what can you do to them? I've bin trying to freeze them, but BFC just isnt reliable enough to freeze before i die. Any suggestions? Ima loose anyway, so if the suggestion involves suiciding its okay.

Noobinators really annoy me Wink

P.S. oh yeah, i dont have an insane budget, otherwise i'd have the weapons to defeat them

RE: Vs Noobinators
Find a way to force a draw. Assuming you survive long enough to realize you're fighting a n00binator. Freezing them isn't really an option. Even coupling a 20% Freezer with Fiery Gaze, that's only a 40% chance, and that's assuming they don't have a guaranteed freezer to use against you.

As Rabid said, training out of that range is the only real option.

Doesn't training pit a person up against players with better sets too?

Yes, but they aren't "n00binators" at that point Toungue

XD

That's the best possible advice! If you can survive through the freeze (or freeze yourself), it's not that difficult for a 55/85 booster to kill a pet using an ECA.

Another option is to set parameters in qf's. Namely, set a min level and str. It keeps the newbies out who make you wait, and keeps the bulk of n00binators from running into you Toungue

RE: Vs Noobinators
I remembered fighting a noobinator who uses a mutant mynci. That mynci has terrible stats really low and the worst thing is that that pet only has 4 hp (!!) but something that puzzle me is his winning record so I know this guy probably has some terribly powerful weapons up his sleeve so I just went and buy the Super poison dart and I shoot him with that in the first turn and just like I predicted, he uses the cursed elixir and killed my pet in 1 turn( that's sometime ago, now when I have lower than 20hp..) but I managed to poison him, YIPEE!

RE: Vs Noobinators
Yes their are a whole bunch of noobinator's in the lowest str/def boost with very low hp's. The problem is they use ECA and H4k knowing you cannot do enough damage to kill them and they get the freeze. So the best thing to do is to poison them to at least make them spend some np's for cure or have to wait until healing springs cures them.

The biggest problem to me is quick fights because you really do not get to make a decesion if you want to fight the pet or not. Most of the times you are waiting for an opponent and once they come it is on.
