RE: Restoring Post Count
I found that my post count has moved up and down. I should have more than 600 some-not-too-random-number but I can't. I don't care but somedays ago I noticed that i no longer can see the "think about it" forum, before I couldn't write there.

EDIT: Forget about the number.

Yes, it was a forum-wide post count update. Let me explain what had happened behind the scenes.

Also, as a note before I start for non-raters: In addition to the normal forums you see, there is also an archive of all the old posts from back when Invision was used and other stuff.

Prior to the posts changing, it used the post count from back in Invision. However, after the post count updating, it just used the posts in the visible forums (minus some like Yeehaw). That was when this thread was opened and Ben/I updated a bunch of people's post counts. Then it reset again or something. And then one last time, which was the most recent one, occurred after Mike did some investigating. This most recent one uses the majority of all available posts, archived ones included. I think we will be sticking with these post counts, as it is just a much less hassle not having to update post counts and verifying that they're valid of individual users, so sorry to those who got lowered significantly (which I'm guessing is from the loss of posts back in Invision). Post count shouldn't be that important, anyways.

^Haha.

Anyways, as I said before, there won't be any more restoration of post counts. See this post.
