Need help. Finally found Snow Beast.. But, seems to have bigger problem now..

If you plan on using Winged Scarab don't touch your defense. Defense actually makes winged scarab worse since it does a fixed amount of damage proportional to your def boost whenever it blocks physical icons

I'm in a similar situation with training myself, after labbing too long.
Have you considered terror troves to level up? I've been researching them for the last few days and it seems that it'll cost you about 7/8k per level. (So you'd still be paying for the strength training) Have a look at this thread for more info http://forums.finalhit.org/showthread.php?tid=1538

you shouldnt have too much trouble with 85... i beat him with a 55 boost, a set less than, 100k, and a lot of patience.

you should be using reflectors, in this case air and water. 1st and 2nd turns, use double dryer and super u-bend or whatever its called with burrow and sink until he's at about 110 hp... then use a thick smoke bomb and a terror stone/scroll of freezing. provided that he doesn't use jss, two muffins should kill him.

Really? hm.. ok. I will keep that in mind. I got my level to 105 now. Another 4 more and I can start to push my pet to a 125 boost in no time. I will try the reflector / thick smoke bomb method to see if it works on me..

Finally beat snow beast. Man, i would have posted a screenie here if I knew how to. But I had to borrow a SoS and a H4K helmet.. Yay, finally got thru him. What a relief. Thanks for all the help. Btw, one last question. Is it advisable for a 125 boost to use prickly potions? Im not sure, cos 125 is not really too high. My main focus will be on War and DoN opponents. Thanks. =x

Good job beating the Snowbeast. If you're in Windows, there should be a Print Screen key on your keyboard, and then you can paste that into Paint or another program. Upload then wa la, you have a screenie.

Yes, Prickly Potions are worth using at the 125 Boost. Your 3x multiplier is two thirds of the 4.5x multiplier of the 200 Boost, meaning that Prickly Potions are equivalent of a nine-icon weapon against 200 Boost Opponents. Against stronger Opponents, Prickly Potions gain more power. They're not suitable for Spyder Stomping until later battles, so keep a couple of nine-iconers (or better, such as your SoA) around.

To further expand on what Shattered Rift has said about screenshots, there should be a "Print Screen" key on the keyboard somewhere above the cursor keys, at the top.  Simply just set the screen to whatever you want to take a shot of, press the button (or ALT+Print Screen) and then open Paint or a Photoshop program.  Go to Edit and Paste, or CTRL+V, save it, go either here or here or any other uploading program and upload the file.  Et voila!  You can now copy and paste the link of the screenshot to anything you like, provided you use the image tags on the forums.

Congratulations on defeating the Snow Beast.  May I ask where you borrowed the H4000 Helmet and Sword of Skardsen?  Those might be able to help me after I successfully find him...

Ok. So it looks like prickly potions are kinda useful for 125 boosts. I will try to get one when the price is right. I'm getting real tired of my BFC but it seems like the price of ELL is not dropping. Well, I guess I just got save up for one of those..

And also, about the screenies, may I just ask how to save the link into a 'spoiler' button like what most of the other members do in here..?

Edit: Is there any way to find out the str boosts of 1-p opponents ..?

Ya true, and to say it becomes a 9, 11 or even 13 iconers is actually an understatement cos the icons are also 'reflected',  meaning that they can't be blocked. (Pls correct me if Im wrong) .. I actually liked the cheap reflectors very much. (double dryer, etc) Doesnt break easily too. =x

Edit: I'm still trying to find out how to check the 1p opponent's boost as well as the exact percentage freeze of the faerie abilities such as fiery gaze / diamind dust. Help appreciated.
