Power Bar questions
Ok..can someone direct me to a good article on the Power Bar in the BD.
I had no idea until recently that that played an effect on your ability to use abilities. (This Battling this is relatively new to me...especially 2P) I just always thought it was a physical representation of your HP's. Just never really paid close enough attention. Anyone care to explain it to me and maybe give a few pointers to get the most 'bang for my buck' as it were out of my available power? Thanks |

RE: Power Bar questions
The "Power Bar" is taken away when you use faerie abilities (the 6 different elements).
You can use each on Strong, Medium, Weak. For more information on the different settings refer to this topic: http://forums.finalhit.org/showthread.php?tid=16230 Other than the effectiveness of faerie abilities, Power does not play a factor until it is 0. Once your Power Bar is at 0, your abilities will be rendered useless and will do nothing. Hope that helps

RE: Power Bar questions
Just as clarification, once your power drops to 0, you cannot use pet stances, such as fierce, beserk, or defend. Instead, it will act like cautious with a multiplier of 1 (instead of 1.5 of berserk, etc).
Also, the abilities have been a bit strange since TNT changed them, but if you click "go" second for Sink/Burrow, it always takes up 39% of your power. If you go first, I believe, it is like how it was before it changed, but it's been a while since I tested that out. ![]() My sig no longer requires a spoiler, yay! |

Quote:Once your Power Bar is at 0, your abilities will be rendered useless and will do nothing. Just to clarify that point: Once you have 0 power, no matter what action you select your pet will only perform as if you had selected "Cautious Attack". Faeie Abilities will no longer be available Species and Sponsor Abilities will still be available on the drop-down, but will not actually do anything. Damage multiplier stances (Defend, Fierce, Berserk, etc) will be selectable on the drop down but will not actually do anything, your weapon icons will have a multiplier of 1.0 no matter what "Siggy? whats the real name of the item? *sigh* im new to this whole battledome items....so, sorry! RE: Power Bar questions
The ideal thing to do, of course, is to use your Burrow (39%) and Sink (39%), then if necessary, Regeneration or something like it on Medium (20%). That will leave you with 2% power.

RE: Power Bar questions
Well, if you think the next turn is going to be the last turn of the fight it might make sense to use up your last bit of power.

RE: Power Bar questions
Well, then humiliate them with Stone Legion.
But no really. It's best that you never let your power empty under any circumstances whatsoever. With that last bit of power, keep it so your last turn won't be the turn of your doom. You never know when someone's gonna block all your damage and prolong the fight. |
