any weapon upgrade

last time when i was here i said i was going to have a defensive set, well i changed my mind xP

i would like to noe if i should upgrade any weapons...
im planning to get the lab soon and just lab (heh easy way out) therefore i wont really care bout defense unless 2p

mostly i do 1p but 10% or when im bored, 2p

any suggestions are welcome. thanks!

Do you have a budget or you just looking for what you can do with the money you already have in your set? Or do you just want to know what weapons you should be looking to upgrade next?

What does you budget look like? It's hard to help you find an upgrade If I don't know what you're willing to spend.

Off hand, I'd say the next thing you should get would be one of the 9-icon clubs: Stone Club or Ice Club. I believe the ice club is slightly cheaper. If you don't do alot of 2-player, ditch the dual duty's . Unless they're full blocking, Dual-Duties aren't that helpful in 1-player.

However, What I'd recomend most of all is training. . The 9 iconers should carry you atleast through the 85 boost, arguably through the 125 boost.

I agree, the Ice Club (stone club if you really care about icons) should be your next goal. They are about 60k-65k (I bought mine today) You should look into getting rid of the Jade Staff and King Kelpbeards Blessing as well as the Leaf Shield if you are just going to lab, and expecially if you are just going to do one player. Throwing a one use bomb in there for situational purposes would probably be helpful too. We can't determine much untill you give us a price range though

Obiwanpi: was that last comment referring to 1p only or 2p? And were you referring to using the 9 iconer as a backup weapon or as a main weapon? Just curious

well i only have 150k right now with a ghost paint brush(waiting for that to inflate)
also i didnt get the lab map pieces yet... so any help please?

SINK-BURROW CAN BE USED ONCE, THE SHIELDS ARE FOR THE REST OF THE BATTLE!

Both the Ice Club and Stone Club are easily by the common shields, most notably the Leaf Shield. But that is where the similarity ends.

The main reason why Stone Club is more widely favoured to Ice Club is because it gets 6 icons past Sink. That's three more icons than Ice Club. But Stone Club has to consider the fact that there are alot more weapons that can easily counter it, especially all those earth icons:

Golden Geraptiku Talisman
Patched Magic Hat
Cloudy Wand of Storms  
Shiny Shoal Shell Shield
Silver Chest Plate
Ugga Marbleshield

I'm just stating some of the more common and/or cheap defensives against Stone Club.

As for Ice Club, there are:

Altadorian Battle Helmet
Frozen Wand of Crystals
Heavy Blocking Shield
Basic Wooden Shield
Ugga Marbleshield

Consider the other common shields and dual duties floating around and see which of these two seems more favourable to you.

However, since you battle 1-player most of the time, icons types matters less .

Yes, but IMO for something to be effective blocking something, it has to deal more or the same icons (even if it's a shield, it has to block all then) Now I understand you can use 2 weapons at the same time and you gotta account for the second weapon and all... but when I look up there at those suggestions, I see two common weapons: Patched Magic Hat, and Frozen Wand of Crystals. Now the Wand fits my standard, while the Hat doesn't. So I would justify getting the Stone is better right off of the bat. The only other thing I would look at is what icons your main attacker does, and if any weapon (when used against your main and that weapon) would do 9 net icons against you then.

But, like CadaverGrey said, you're mostly doing 1p so it won't really matter. I'd say Stone if you were concerned about 2p, if you're not, Ice cause it's cheaper. BTW, the clubs seem to be having a bit of a price spike recently. Dunno if you wanna hold out for another week or so and see if they go back down again or not

Actually, I'm more for the Stone Club over the Ice Club. Despite the earth defence list being longer, not many people are equiiped with those weapon. The choice seems to be more for Leaf Shield over any of the others. Coupled by the fact that, again, it goes past sink, edges it slightly better.

But like I said, it is a matter a preference on Thunderberdz's part.
