What's My Next Upgrade
Ok, so I got a set that I'm happy with now. Now what I want to know is what I should do next. Here's my set:
Scuzzys Comb Golden Compass Stone Club Ice Club Thief Dagger Scarab Ring Greater Healing Scroll Downsize! And here are my stats: Lvl: 32 HP: 64 Str: 57 Def: 55 Intel and Move: Too low I configure everything for 2p, as about 90% of my battles are 2p. I don't have a budget as I just want to know what to do next. (I currently only have 1k, lol) I don't want a frost cannon or a snowglobe staff either. And I don't like the Cloudy Wand of Storms or the Frozen Wand of Crystals. Also please say what weapon should be replaced by the new one. I don't like shields and non-100% freezers... Challenge Swift_Rev14_6 if you are a 55 boost pet lookin for a fight (no 100% freeze ofcourse) BTW, 2p FTW! |

RE: What's My Next Upgrade
My recomendation for your next upgrade is to ditch the ice club or stone club and go for a constant weapon upgrade. Specifically WHAT to get depends partailly on how big you like to make your upgrades. In general, I'd tend to say that 2 icons would be the minimum upgrade that it's really worth the hassle to get a fair price buying/ selling for. So, that means the lowest value multiple use weapon I'd recomend are the 11-icon TCG blasters, Bzzt Blaster, Fungus Ray, Garoo Elite Blaster, and Goo Blaster. Currently cheaper is Sword Of Apocalypse, which also averages around 11 icons... Although I have to say, from over a year of using it, the randomness is annoying. If you're like me, and like to make the upgrades in slightly LARGER jumps, like me, Bow Of Destiny and Wand Of Reality Are both only around/under twice the price of the TCG blasters.
That being said, don't stop training to buy a weapon upgrade. Your current set should last you through the 125 strength boost.

RE: What's My Next Upgrade
Dual dutiesssssss.
If you don't like the wands (I'm not a huge fan, either), there's always Dusty Magic Broom (which I prefer over Air Faerie Crown, which is also an option), Hobans Hat, and my favorite, Mask of Coltzan. If you're more into the idea of pure shields, I've recently come to quite like Sophies Magic Hat (it's still a little expensive, but relatively rare and therefore unexpected in battle). And if it's just more offensive power you're after, I'd skip the overpriced 11-iconers entirely and go straight to Wand of Reality or Bow of Destiny.Another thing to keep an eye on are those new multiple-use weapons that (intentionally) behave differently in 1-player and 2-player: Steaming Skeem Potion (8 icons in 1p, 11 in 2p) and Jittery Jipple Potion (6 icons in 1p, 10 in 2p). There are threads on both in the weapon information and updates forum. They are not super high-rarity and should therefore end up fairly cheap (and common in 2-player at your level), so it might be a good idea to think about shields that counter them, too. RE: What's My Next Upgrade
JJP is currently going for 120K on the TP for a 10 iconer for 2p only, and stone club has gone currently gone unbuyable, Ice Club is also having an upswing in price (90K up from 60K that I paid 3 weeks ago)
Selling your constants and replacing them with these could open up a few more dual duty slots. The JJP still loses a race against GoC, but is not touched by the increasingly common SotD/DMB/AFC/Leaf Sheild, which several of your current constants are held back by. |

RE: What's My Next Upgrade
hmm... well, seeing how I make my cash very very very slowly, any smidge of an upgrade is an upgrade. I don't think I'd be able to afford something like MOC, for example, for a very very long time.
So Obi, I won't get creamed if I do no freeze 2p battles up through the 125 boosts with my set? So as for the cash bit, 500k cash (+ current weapon that would be replaced) would be a big stretch... so I'm more for the "slower" or "subtle" upgrades I don't like shields and non-100% freezers... On the other hand, I don't 2-player alot, so the dynamics there might be slightly different, but... watch the new price of the weapons which cran mentioned, but otherwise, you probably won't suffer too much from your set until your at least past the 85 boost. You might want to upgrade for the 125 boost, but Uless weapons deflate even more, I wouldn't classify it as a much. The boosts do wounders, weapon upgrades aren't as noticable. RE: What's My Next Upgrade
I also think you need to consider. which would be more beneficial to you as a 2 player battler--either defense or offense. Don't forget to make budget allowances for single use items, like bombs--sand snowballs; and/or one time defensive items like smoke bombs, etc. I agree that slower more calculated upgrades are a preferred method. For instance if all the battlers you batlle defeat you with a certain weapon--this would be primary to upgrade first. Personally I am a one player battler unitl after the 125 strength boost. So my considerations would be very different from yours.

kriskyte Wrote: Well, without offense you can't win. If I'm versing 10 icon weapons, I like to have 10 icon weapons as my main attackers and a few dual duities/9 iconers for backups. I really can't afford to have single use items in my set. I mean, it will take me probably a month, if not more to get 100k. I don't play much as the only thing I like about neos is battling, so I don't restock or anything. I'm not against using unpopular weapons either, but I see what you are saying that if a weapon is popular it's probably a good choice. And Obiwanpi, thx for the info. I might consider training sometime in the near future then too. I don't like shields and non-100% freezers...
