Anyway, Sophies Magic Hat seems to be comparable with Mystical White Cloak since it does Fire_def

I find this thread helpful. I wouldn't have been able to comb through that large database to know which one needs rating. Not that I am a rater, but sometimes when I need a raters opinion on a weapon it's really frustrating to see there is none given.

Bucket O Water now has a rating. Personally, I think a thread like this is helpful in that at the moment I KNOW there are weapons out there in need of ratings (it's being worked on), but some are junk and aren't confusing to people, while some are things that there's a lot of active interest in. I'm hoping that the things that show up on a thread of this type are things that people actually have some interest in, and yeah, it saves time hunting in the data base that could be better spent rating.

I haven't tested it myself, but I have repeatedly run across rumours that Sophies Magic Hat also defends some amount of earth in addition the the Fire, Dark and Physical currently listed in the IDB. It might be worth having someone re-test before it gets rated.

You have to search for it on the main page, and then copy/paste the URL for where it says "In-depth analysis" as so:

I like this thread, too -- like VermontHermit said, it helps us know which weapons people are interested in, so we can make sure they get rated first. Keep them coming! And feel free to post the names of weapons you think suck, too. Bad ratings are fun to write. Wink
