Kings Lens - where did it come from?

Ive heard that Coltzan VERY rarely gives them out as prizes on the coltzan shrine. Is there any truth to this? or is this some myth i caught up to?

if it is true, know anyone with screenies? also, it means k-lens is prone to deflation and isnt a safe buy?

if it is false, where really did this thing came from?

i was goofing with a serf lens one time, and noticed its url, being:

there's a gap between their lens number
so i checked each, and found these

lens 4 is Plumbeard's Craftsman Lens

are these lens part of previous plot? like useless crystals in LDP?

I know that #4 is Craftsmans Lens (used by Plumbeard)

I can't track it's origin (well, it's a Rarity 135 Defense Magic Item, but that doesn't help much), but given that the only rating in the IDB was in January of '04 (three years ago), and there aren't any on the TP right now, they quite possibly aren't around anymore. So, assuming you could find one, it'd probably be a safe buy (and cost you an arm and a leg more than you have, ).

If Coltzan gives them out, it's probably as rare (if not rarer, given the price it would cost) than how often he gives out a million NPs (and how often has that happened since the Shrine's been around?).

I do believe the kings lens is a coltzans shrine prize, same as coltzans sceptre and fire gem. If I remember the news snippet when the sceptre and fire gem came out, they said they would come from coltzan's shrine but very rarely. Kings lens is one of those rare items. The million np thing I think is just a rumor. As for screen shots, so few are given out by the shrine that the few people who gotten one probably don't have screen shots to share of it.

mind you, all three are extremely rare, you have more chance rs'ing a ttear from battle magic (which I actually see 2 a month stock) than get anything worth over 10k np from coltzan (other than stats)

A long time ago on PPT it said that if you went to Coltzans at exactly 12 noon NST on Sunday you would get the million np. I have no idea if it was true or not though.

Actually, it used to be that you could get 1 million np from Coltzan's Shrine by refreshing exactly at midnight. TNT later changed that, though (pretty sure it was discussed in an editorial). And yes, King's Lens does come from Coltzan's Shrine, along with theoretically every intermediate lens.

I heard that some famous user (I think it was XXXX) bought one then fed one to a Grarrl and took a screenshot just to wizz off the seller. I bet it worked

Kings Lens

This weapon could definitely pwn the Faerie Slingshot. However, since it reflects in low quantities, I doubt it's very useful in battle. I would really rather have an Alien Aisha Scrambler + Ultra Dual Shovel myself (which would still probably be much much cheaper).

Craftsmans Lens

Pretty much a crappier (yet theoretically more common) version of Kings Lens.

I wonder what the names of the other lenses are? I also wonder...
