looking for a freezer
ok i compared to most of u people i would probably fall on the insanely poor side, well im looking for a freezer, it doesnt have to be 100% a 25% change will do just fine but im need one that is not single use and i don't have to worry about it breaking( so it could be multiple use or once per battle), i currently have 60k np is there any item i get get that fits my description??
btw the equipped pet will be a xweetok so a different species only weapon wont work |

RE: looking for a freezer
Unfortunately you're undercapitalized to be looking at any of the better freezer options. The two items that are within your budget would be the Snowglobe Staff (which can freeze, can generate a yellow snowball (pretty useless, as it wastes a turn doing so), break for the rest of the battle (but not forever), do nothing, or attack with six icons. It's probably the best freezing percentage you'll see at the moment, given your budget. I personally preferred the cheaper, and even lower freezing percentage of the Green Frost Cannon, which is the best of the cheap Frost Cannons. It's freezing percentage is lower (you can check on both items on the IDB database), but it has a bit of an attack, and at least you're always doing something with it to damage your opponent. I felt I was better off with it overall than the more expensive Snowglobe Staff, despite the Staff's higher freezing percentage as it so often did nothing for me. I'm very sure you can make an arguement both ways on this though, and it's really a matter of which you prefer, and neither is a great freezer, though both are better than nothing. Neither is a speices weapon, though some species do have freezing weapon options. At this point, earn nps, save, train, and hopefully you'll be able to upgrade further later.

RE: looking for a freezer
well i bought the green frost cannon and so far haven't had a single freeze yet, its rather annoying becuase when ime battling 1player people like chia clown ive already gottem him up to 23 hp and with me only at 8 i need to heal regularly, to do so i have 3 mud mixtures and a slime potion along with a fighting folder which aslo doubles as a 2 point heal every turn i also have a lea shield and a scarab ring, and of course the cannon, when firce attack with scarab and fighting folder i have hit a min of 7 and a max of 20 against punching bag bob unfortuatly i can risk double attacking in a real battle becuase of my low hp, i can easily die in 1 hit even with the +2 heal from fighting folder
my stats are as follows: Name : Adrasil_Reborn Species : Xweetok Agility : 15 (lightning) Attack Strength : 9 (quite strong) Defence Strength : 12 (heavy) Current hp: 8 / 8 Level : 3 |

RE: looking for a freezer
Here are your options for a freezer:
1. If you had a Lupe you could use the Ancient Lupe Wand which is a 100% freezer that sells for around 20,000 np. The drawbacks are that it only works for Lupes (which doesn't help your Xweetok) and it is fragile - it can break for good, leaving you out 20k. 2. Stick with your Green Frost Cannon for about a 9% or 10% freeze chance. If you value freezing the way I do, that still only makes this about as good as using an Obsidian Dagger, so I don't recommend that anyone use this weapon at current prices. 3. Spend about 20k on a Snowglobe Staff and get used to frustration. The good news is that it has about a 20% freeze chance. The bad news is that 3 out of 5 uses it is actually worthless, and it can break before you get that freeze. Still if you value freezes the way I do, it's miles better than the Green Frost Cannon. 4. Try to wiz-snipe for a Scroll of Freezing or a Terror Stone, which average around 80k, but can sometimes be found cheaper. Both are 100% freezers, but both are highly fragile and will break for good after a few uses. 5. Save up a few 100,000 nps for a Rainbow Frost Cannon or a Black Frost Cannon. This isn't feasible for you at your current budget. 6. Save up a couple million for a species freezer, the cheapest of which is Entangling Lenny Lasso I won't list the rest, since we're way out of your budget and none of them help Xweetoks. (nor will neopets ever release weapons to help Xweetoks.) 7. Save up a couple more million for a H4000 Helmet. Now we are talking about roughly 100 times your current budget, and this is sadly the only good option on this entire list. I should also mention that it will be worthwhile for you to train to level 6 and release 3 bottled fire faeries to get the Fiery Gaze ability. You can do that for under 20k, and it does have roughly a 1 in 8 chance of freezing, and it can be used in conjunction with a freezing weapon. "Siggy? whats the real name of the item? *sigh* im new to this whole battledome items....so, sorry! " |

RE: looking for a freezer
Rabid is quite right to mention the Faerie Ability as a freezing option. I meant to do that and forgot. Right now the best thing you can do is train your strength, defense and hit points. As it appears you're real new to the game, be aware that you should visit Coltzans Shrine (in the Lost Desert) every 14 hours, and you he will often GIVE you a stat point FREE. Also, if your pet has a petpet (Abominable Snowball is cheap), you can try waking Turmaculus (in Meridell) and he occasionally give away a free strength point if you're lucky enough to wake him (he can only be awoken one hour per day). You can also try Kitchen Quests (on Mystery Island), but at your level of training, only do the quest if the chef asks for inexpensive items (1,500 nps or less at your level I'd think), which will be rare, but as you progress, this will become a better and better source of stats. Training can be done at the training school on Mystery Island (quicker but more expensive, via codestones), or at the Academy on Krawk Island, (cheaper, but slower paid by Dubloons - Coltzan also occasionally gives these out). And of course play Tombola (Mystery Island) and the Fruit Machine (Lost Desert) which are free and can give you nps and in the case of the Tombola, occasionally Bottled Faeries or Codestones for training. Good luck, and again, Rabid brought you a good idea regarding Fiery Gaze.

RE: looking for a freezer
For the moment, stick with the Green Frost Cannon. You should save up for a Rainbow or Black Frost Cannon. Snowglobe Staff is hideous.

RE: looking for a freezer
Right now, you should be training as much as possible. After all, you want to be able to fight more enemies than just the Chia Clown, right?
![]() I HIGHLY recommend saving for a Black Frost Cannon. They freeze 25%, and do about 4 icons of damage each use. They cost about 400K, but are sure to hold their value (meaning when a better freezer comes along, you can sell it for that much, if not more). EDIT: While Fiery Gaze is good, it's just not practical for long term use now that every shot takes 39% power. The only situation I can see myself using it in is when I'm trying to battle a really tough 1-player opponent, and I use it repeatedly on the first turn to get the outcome I want (running away if it doesn't work). Realistically, those points are better spent somewhere else, like Burrow, Sink, and Regeneration.

RE: looking for a freezer
Furry Fury Wrote:Green Frost Cannon With your stats and your weapons i guess that you should avoid the "freezing" on your strategy. Also do a little bit morefor your weapons. That can do a lot for you. Then you can train (but this is your better path... but you may want to keep yours stats low) Right now i suggest you to build your strategy, your pet and lastly your battle gear. Meanwhile get some nps. Sufriendo Utopias Undergoing Utopies Se habla espaƱol / english spoken
