New Effective Weapons

RE: New Effective Weapons
I agree with Rabid on most stuff. However, there are a few things I'd like to bring to light.
Sinsis Helm is not removable from the weapon spotlight. I know for my set, the most I'll probably ever be able to scrape up without being tempted to go out and splurge is around 250k, and unless I get lucky and get those Icy Chia Goggles I've been wishing for at the well, or a Thyoras Tear & a Bony Grarrl Club restock just as I walk in to Battle Magic, I will need the sinsis helm for all physical blocking. Plus, it's buyable on the SW!
Also rabid, you wrote Earth Faerie Slingshot twice. Please fix it. Pretty Please?
Thanks for listening to me rant loudly,
Tomato

RE: New Effective Weapons
Fixed, thanks.

My argument against Sinsi's Helm is solely that Winged Scarab is now trading at somewhere around 225-250k and has been as low as 200k. If you can afford the 75k or so for the Sinisis Helm, then that's not an unreachable upgrade.

im agree with rabid with some things, but i dont understand wand of the moon because an amulet of inevitable betrayal does same with rarer icons and cheaper price

What's the worst that I can say? Things are better if I stay! So long and goodnight, So long and goodnight!

Not quite. Wand of the Moon blocks 3 dark, Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal blocks 3 light. And while AoIB is cheaper, WotM does occasionally drop to buyable prices.

The argument against WotM is that both Jade Staff and Tooth of Terrask offer the same defense with only 1 fewer icon for roughly 1/10th of the price and Golden Compass offers only a fraction of an icon less dark defense with 2 more offensive icons attached for only about 50-75k more.
