Neopoint Making - Need your help!
Hi there. I recently rejoined Neopets and decided to start fresh. My old pet had approximately 200 of each stat and a moderately intermediate battledome lineup (Ramtor's Spellbook, Scuzzy's Claw, Honey potion, etc). Now that I'm back, I'm sitting on 2 million neopoints and trying to figure out how to make money. I try to play games, invest 1000 stocks in the stockmarket everyday, but I don't seem to make very much, especially with codestone training as of now. Am I missing something? Can you suggest any ways to make good amounts of Neopoints.
Thanks in advance, An Old Newbie |

RE: Neopoint Making - Need your help!
1. sirhatter's guide to foodclub, on the windagame petpage
2. clotho's guide to stocks on the arcticpal petpage (although you may not need this one) 3. High NP/time ratio games. These tend to be mainly sponsor games, but some regular games are strong here - Whack a Kass, Jolly Jugglers, Zurroball, Bouncy Supreme etc. 4. Restocking. 5. Sponsor links. Use some caution here, as neo has shut off the direct links on petpages so you need to visit offsite collections to get a current guide, and neo may crack down on abuse of these soon. 6. Invest time in minimizing training costs as well as earning NP. Use Coltzan's Shrine, Turmaculous, K-quests and Terror Trove Scratchcards to try to get cheaper stats and levels. 7. Investing. Pay attention to items Tarla has recently given away, those with steady demand should will slowly rebound in price. Alternately horde a variety of the useful low-end BD gear and hope for another war where the prices on the entry-level items will double or triple. 8. Plot participation. Last year you could have gotten Ring of the Lost, Yoyuu Player Sling and Hobans Hat from plots. Currently, those 3 trade at around 9 million combined value. And you could have done better by selling at peak prices or buying Cup prizes with higher Cup Point to Neopoint Ratios. "Siggy? whats the real name of the item? *sigh* im new to this whole battledome items....so, sorry! " |

RE: Neopoint Making - Need your help!
Hi,
I made most of my neopoints by restocking. Also, I'm moving this to our neopets general forum as it relates more to neopoint making than battledoming. If you'd like to host werewolf, please PM me. |

PaCe- Wrote:Thanks a lot for the ideas mate. How exactly does restocking work? It's been a while, heh I don't get it, I restock quite a bit when I'm searching for an item and I find a bunch priced way lower than the majority, so I'll buy them up and price them somewhat lower where they're the lowest, but I still can't do very well especially when I'm buying from Neopian shops I make my np from sponsor links and hidden np, but I don't post invalid links since TNT didn't like where there were tons of them that all lead to blank pages and such... but 30k a day is pretty nice I've been trying hoarding the shenkuu cures lately since they're still not released or usable I should say... so I've got tons of crumble fungus and clay and leaf paste in my sdb I've heard stocking up on codestones, faeries, and dubloons is a quick way to earn np but there's such a hubbub of other people trying to get them that I don't usually mess with them very much

RE: Neopoint Making - Need your help!
PaCe- Wrote:Thanks a lot for the ideas mate. How exactly does restocking work? It's been a while, heh My small advice on restocking: Decide on a specialty shop. Go to neoitems.net and study items sold in your specialty shop (so you know which ones gives a profit) and only buy items that you'll be able to make NP on (at least 500 np I'd say) To restock you have to have a somewhat fast connection. Some times are easier to restock then others, esp late at night, early morning US time. Before you could refresh your shop as much as you'd like (to see the new items added), but now you can only refresh 3 times a minute I think.... anyway, if you refresh to often you'll get shop blocked (not see any items in any shops for x time) Don't hassle on expensive items. If the shopkeeper sells something for 996, just bid 999 as it is faster for you. OK, somewhat cheesy guide. Would recommend you study up on it though, read articles here and others you can find through Google. Good luck!

RE: Neopoint Making - Need your help!
Ways to make NP faster than gaming:
1. Restocking 2. Stock Market 3. Food Club 4. Plots (not quick, but alot for the time you actually spend on it) 5. Long Term investments (Recently retired books, ect. Also, see plots) 6. Wiz Sniping (questionable practicality without the SSW) 7. Auction Sniping (requires a fair bit of practice) 8. World Challenges. ...And probably alot more I'm not thinkng of.
