New Effective Weapons

These are new effective weapons that not much people know about. Their info and stats have been suggested in the battlepedia but they have not been rated.

Enchanted Wooden Bow - 30k weapon that hits 8 icons!
I suggest to buy this before it inflates.

Tyrannian Lupe Tooth - 60k weapon that hits 9 icons!
I suggest to buy this before it inflates. It is better than the Iron Lupe Sword and cheaper.

Hee, we've been recommending both of those weapons around here for quite some time now.

Also, it's hard to become a rater. They've all been here forever... and I think there's even a test.

I'm sure those weapons will rise in price as soon as they start getting known so I suggest you buy it before it becomes famous or you can buy it and THEN spread the news about it. =P

They're already known, dude, seriously. I recommended them in the weapons advice thread at PPT in July (in my list of cheap but effective weapons), and we've been suggesting them in this forum since they became buyable. A lot of people bought them during the battling portion of the Haunted Woods plot, raising the price, but they've gone back down in price now. There is such a high supply of them that they aren't going to inflate again until there's another war.

Because those that are aware of them aren't raters. Most of the ratings are out of date becuase the raters aren't around.

Indeed there actually was a test - a HARD one, when I was trying to be a rater.   Hopefully there will be some opportunities soon in that regard.   Personally, I apologize for not rating more items, but I'm not around much until basketball season ends for us (two more weeks).  I think one of the problems is many of the raters either have stopped playing Neopets or have transitioned from high school into college, or college into the job world, or have personal or family situations that have changed over time, as we all tend to do.   Anyways, for what it's worth, I found two ratings already posted for the Enchanted Wooden Bow (I'll add another soon), and I've added one for the Tyrannian Lupe Tooth.   If someone desperately wants a weapon rated that doesn't have a rating, feel free to PM me and as soon as I have time, I'll try and oblige.

I can't speak for anyone else here, but what I'd like to see more than just ratings would be an update of the weapon spotlight. I know that's not your responsibility, but I still feel it's worth mentioning. Referring people to the spotlight should get them to a list of weapons that are good.

Just aren't good weapons anymore and should no longer be recommended, nor in the spotlight feature.
