I always have trouble finding out which weapons and combinations are the right ones for my uni, at the moment i'm having huge difficulties with defeating the snowbeast (he immediatly gets my pet to zero hp in like one or two turns with that horn or ice cube of his)
so i wanted to ask if someone can tell me which weapons are the best to use on my pet

Before you give comments on my defence i know it is too weak, but there was a time, long time ago, when i zapped my pet and trained on level and hitpoints without thinking of the consequences from lab zapping and the need of a good defence, i'm slowely training my pets levels first before i can start training defence like it should so i'm aware of my defence problem

the weapons i own (i'd like to battle with them, make combos with them if they are good, if you know a better one please tell me)

i have: dark battle duck, battle duck, royal wedding ring, ramtors spellbook, scuzzys comb, honey potion, melting mirror, spectral forest bow, halo of devilpuss, helm of despair, leaf shield, grand lightning beam, von roo dice, ice club, uni face shield, downsize!, winged scarab, Greater Healing Scroll,Cloudy Wand of Storms and a few other wands and staffs and battle items (the ones in bold are the ones i normally use) i was wondering of maybe buying a sword of apocalypse but i don't know if it would change much

i'd rather not spend too much anymore but i will consider items untill they reach a price around 1 mil/1.1mil or so (but then i can only afford like one or so )

anyone who wants to give me advice on which weapons to use (and which weapons make the best combinations ) for my pet? thank you!!

i should also mention that i don't know much about weapons so i don't know all the abreviations, so can whoever replies please write the names in full sorry for that

I'd suggest selling some of your extra weapons. DBD is soooooo outdated it's like an antique now 8 icons for w/e it's worht while 9 iconers are hanging around for 100k!

I'd fill in the last 2 spots of your set with a bzzt blaster (I think 1.2?mil) but you can afford that with some selling. and possibly a purple sticky hand. fire dark physical go well with water air light...The onyl thing you are missing is some earth and which you could pick up with a stone club...

seriously though, you have a ton of "backup" weapons that are worht 100k+ and don't fit into your 8 weap limit

what about the ramtors spellbook and the melting mirror? i bought those recently since i thought it would help me defeat the snowbeast (didn't work )

i indeed noticed that i had way more weapons than i thought most of them i keep 'backed up' on my other pets, but i don't really battle with them so maybe i can indeed sell a few and the dbd i already have from when it was still doing more icons, what a pitty it got downgraded then oh and i have that sticky hand in my sdb

there is only one of those blasters on tp at the moment and one in auctions for 2mil ..:s i guess the one on tp will ask more, any alternative for the blaster?

i think my biggest problem is the strategy , i normally go for the 'attack' (like you can see in my earlier training of strength) and forget about defending , so i guess i should better go for an attack+a defend item (winged scarab) each time unless i use downsize,burrow or sink?

nah unless your opponent is doing 5+ icons of physical, it's just as effective to throw your attack at him rather than defend. Sure, you probably need to use burrow+sink sometimes, but due to your higher atk boost, atking will be better for oyu.

I thought the bzzt blaster dropped in price, but I guess not. Perhaps you can use a goo blaster or garoo elite blaster. As far as I know, those are the best 11 iconers around for 1.1-1.3 mil.

If you're trying to beat the snowbeast, you probably need to train more first. Also, you might find using reflectors better because you can predict his icons...and his str boost is higher

I just find this so amusing cos someone else just suggested a DBD for my set!

I just want to add that the current situations in 2 player BD dictate that fire is the icon to have with water being the close second, so Garoo would be the better choice. But it seems that you fight mainly 1-player? If that is the case, then just go with the one that is cheaper.

well cadavergrey, i am still very happy with my dbd (a little less than when it wasn't downgraded yet ) but i just didn't know better weapons yet

Q77 i'll see if i can find a goo blaster or garoo elite blaster, i see a goo one in trades for 1.3mil and no prices on the garoo ones thank you for the advice ! so i should forget about my intention to buy the sword of apocalypse, the blasters are better for me?

and indeed i almost never battle against other players, only the 1-player fights and the defenders of neopia and the wars but i'll take cadaver's advice in account (don't know if that's the right way to say it in english ) when there isn't too much price difference

and about beating my opponent, i am still training it will just take a long time before my uni reaches level 150 and then i can finally start training my other stats again

about the two blasters,which one would be the best in combination with my other items like sc, rwr, hp,..? (i don't know enough of battling yet to know if i should try to make combos off all different sorts of icons, or of the same sort of icons )
