Is this weapon's set OK?
From most of the post I have read this set is really low budget. Just wondered if it will work for now. I play nothing but one player. My budget is 600000 and I make 25000 a day. I use the lab ray and train every day.

RE: Is this weapon's set OK?
you're almost to the 55 boost!!

if my advice is common, sorry all! (and by all, i really mean the 3-5 people that really give kick butt advice)

ok so your set is now..

Purple Sticky Hand
Leaf Shield
Greater Healing Scroll
Downsize!
Snowglobe Staff
Hand Buzzer
Hand Painted Scarab
Winged Hammer

lets start from the bottom up!

winged hammer, well if you really insist on having light defence ina dual duty, there are acouple options that are upgrades.. in your budget there is Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal. its only one icon more, but the icon types are 'better'.. but in 1player that might not matter too much. there is also the ethereal sword if you are willing to sacrifice one icon for superior light defence!

Hand Painted Scarab i've never used this weapon, i heard it was good before the downgrades, but now its pretty useless. the 2 water/2physical defence is pointless when you have a leaf shield and since it only does 4.6 icons, scarab ring would be a better alternative, though the icons overlap with Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal.

hand buzzer umm, 6 icons that are nice in your set, but still alittle weak for yah. i can think of two cheap alternatives. Firstly, Electro Sword has the same iconage +2 physical, still only giving you 8. then there is Golden Compass which gives you the 6 you already had+3 hard to block air icons and 3 dark defence

snowglobe staff you don't and wont have enough for a full freezer for a long time. so i see no need in 'upgrading' to one of the cannons, unless you think acouple icons are worth 400k+

also look into Stone Club and ice club they are both cheap 9 iconers Smile

keep the sheild and downsize and the healing scroll!

so your new set could look something like this... (prices are non inflated)

Leaf Shield
Greater Healing Scroll
Downsize!
Snowglobe Staff (all the same sofar!!!)
Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal(250kish?)
Golden Compass(200kish?)
Scarab Ring (15kish?)
Purple Sticky Hand>> i'd probably take this and maybe the ring out, or interchange them with An Ice or Stone club(both were below 100k and will be soon enough).

Since you'd be using 9 iconers, and don't have enough for Honey Potion, there's no real use for a bomb.

i hope this helps

er- "collecting" Cooling Balm Of The Warrior??15/500 um.. *shifty eyes*

If you have the time try beating NQII, great returns of 10-iconers and 13-iconers

RE: Is this weapon's set OK?
Okay. Here's your current set:

Purple Sticky Hand
Leaf Shield
Greater Healing Scroll
Downsize!
Snowglobe Staff
Hand Buzzer
Hand Painted Scarab
Winged Hammer

I'd say sell the last three weapons. Keep saving up until you can afford a Honey Potion as your bomb. There shouldn't be too much of a problem since you make 25K per day. After you have done that, start saving up again to get Ice Club and then finally Scuzzys Comb. It may sound a long way, but it shouldn't take that long. Also get Patched Magic Hat to alternate with Leaf Shield. Your new set:

Purple Sticky Hand
Downsize!
Greater Healing Scroll
Leaf Shield OR Patched Magic Hat
Snowglobe Staff
Honey Potion
Scuzzys Comb
Ice Club

I'm not a fan of non-100% freezers or dual-duties.

RE: Is this weapon's set OK?
Your set is fine except for your last 3 weapons. That's where your upgrades will come. (add wilts advice on Honey Potion)

Your pet is dual boosted, so dual-duties are excellent for you. Now i know wilt doesn't like them, but that doesn't mean they can't suit you (nor does it mean others don't say that they are great for dual-boosted pets).

I think you will need 3 constant weapons to enable you to rotate and not be consistently blocked. Scuzzys Comb and Ice Club are fine weapons that work well together, but i propose a different combination of 3 weapons so you can rotate them and avoid shields. Golden Compass (net 11.6), Cloudy Wand of Storms (net 10.2) and Stone Club (9 icons). With this set, remembering you can block icons at the same time attacking which is where the net value comes from, means you can attack with all icons, can rotate weapons and cost the same amount. It just takes a little more effort on your part to consider what your going to be attacked with to get those net icons.

Since im adding dual-duties to your set, people may say "but he may not block so net icons is a waste". However true this may be, remember you still have your intelligence to make sure your weapons dont get blocked instead (as would happen with 2 main weapons).

To make room for this third weapon, i reccomend taking out your Sticky hand, as in many 1-payer fights there isn't much to take (granted there is a few, so store it for later use).

I also disagree with the buy Leaf Shield AND Patched Magic Hat. When every NP counts at your level, the benefit of being able to block 3 icons different for 20k is just a little low on the cost-benefit ratio. Get a Mystical White Cloak or and possibly Earthen Scorchstone instead so you can block different icons at the same power depending on the 1-player opponent you facing.

However there is a tincy weency problem- if you use the freezebombing technique, you will only be able to deal 1 icon less (due to the lack of a 10-iconer). This is possibly 3 damage at your level, but shouldnt be too much of a problem considering the benefit you will get elsewhere in the battle.
