Saving for a SOS, but what if.....
....I decided to spend 5.5M on my set now? ...  I wasn't very clear in my original post. I don't intend to stop training. Upgrading my bd set now would be in addition to continued training. At the current rate, I figure it will take me 20 more days to reach the 200 boost point. My hope is/was to have a 200 boost & a SOS by Christmas! So my question is, is it worthwhile to buy better weapons now -- and if so, which weapons -- or should I keep saving (& training) and just get the big guns once I arrive at the 200 boost?

Here's what I got:

Grarrl
Lvl:  90*
HP:  192
Str:  160
Def:  160
Mov: 44

*Lost 8 levels last night on Deadly Dice
I got to stop playing that game....

Set:
Stone Club
Snowglobe Staff
Tyrannian Lupe Tooth
Greater Healing Scroll
Leaf Shield
Scarab Ring
Purple Sticky Hand
a one-use bomb or nothing

Thanks!!

well with 5 mil, you could probably pick up a BoD, winged scarab and a honey potion. That would replace the scarab ring and one of your other main weaps. After that, save up for a H4k and you're set until you can afford SoS level weaps.

Muhahaha?

You can continue with deadly dice... when you had a hig bet (like 8 levels) you can change your active pet (remember above level 2) and refresh the deadly dice page... then change back your training pet and you will be reset to 1 level bet.

And if you just have 1 pet you can adopt one and then leave it on the pound next day (250 nps por leaving + whatever it charges for adopting).

I didn't know I could do that -- the thing is I like those 8 level bets! (especially if I win!!)

My advice would be to stick to your original plan. It might be painful, and you might have to put off 2-player battling, but you'll be better off getting to the 200 boost than you will upgrading your weapons at those stats.

Remember, 200 is the big boost that provides a 50% increase in damage dealt per icon. That's equivalent to upgrading your Stone Club and TLT to the WoR/BoD level at your current boost. It would cost you ~6.5 million to get those weapons. Yet, you're only 107 courses away from 200 boost with even stats. How much are 428 codestones (minus super bonuses) going to cost you to get stats that will let you do the same? Even at 7500 each, that's only 3.2 million.

"Siggy? whats the real name of the item? *sigh* im new to this whole battledome items....so, sorry! "

Thanks raziel! Although "greedy" may be a more appropriate description.
