Rate my set

I said I would ask for a set rate when my Pet got 35 boost so here it is.

Pet name:Akonal
Species:Kau

Strength : GREAT (35)
Defence : GREAT (30)
Move : breakneck
Intelligence : master genius (63) (theoretically was training this for a short sleeved yellow tunic eventually. But now I'm not sure whether I want it.)

Current set:
Leaf Shield
Kau Knight Helmet
Green Frost Cannon
Stone Club
Greater Healing Scroll
Zapatron 2000
Stone Muffin
Earthen Scorchstone (usually Sword of the Dead, I have this equipped for shadows.)

Budget: Pretty low, I have 4k in the bank and about 5-15k daily depending how well food club cooperates.

I have a purple sticky hand and earth faerie slingshot in the bank. Currently training def, after that hits 35 what should I aim for in terms of HP?

Its decent for what your pets stats are at.

But i really dont think you should use a zaptaron over a ice club\stone club.

Stone\ice club do 9 icons alwasy. If you added the icons up for zapatron that would be 9. But how often are you going to be blocking a light icon?

Also that green frost cannon is 11% chance to freeze. I would only use freeze items if its 50% chance or higher.

As 11% is going to take more of your uses than your gonna be freezing.

Zapatron 2000 does 6 pure light icons, and blocks dark, not light. It is useful to use when burrowing, it fills a defensive hole, and gets through enemy burrow with 6 icons.
As for the freezing, I actually find the chances to be quite acceptable, when coupled with its attack and sometimes fiery gaze. I do, however, wish to upgrade to BFC as my next goal (Good goal to have? Or is upgrading something else more urgent?).
Oh and I forgot to post originally, I do some 1 player when prizes are involved (DoN/war) but mostly do 2-player.
Last, can someone tell me how to quick-link a weapon? Thanks.

to quick link, type an open square bracket, followed without spaces by "idb" followed by without spaces close bracket, type the name correctly of the weapon your linking, then repeat the process with [/idb] instead. To see an example, hit reply and look here Sparkshooter.

I personally think that your next upgrade would be to a Golden Compass to replace your Zapatron. 6 icons with 3 defense can't really cut it in a world with many many 9-iconers.

Stone muffins will eat your budget... try use snow mudballs or just not have a bomb.

The SSYT is not as good as it seems, considering the price compared the the greater healing scroll. Just get that and upgrade later to a 50% healer.

Lets say, theoretically, that I wanted to get rid of stone muffin as per your advice, but I don't want another bomb. What would you recommend?
(I'm gonna take a guess and say you'll say scarab ring, my set is sort of missing any kind of fire defense.)

I'm a 35 booster and ive got a scarab ring. Just remember to use it wisely, its not worth its 9-rating unless it has a good chance of blocking, if not just stick to a constant weapon.
