How does IDB find the images for one player items?

Most of the time, 1P challengers use weapons that are already released the the general public, so we can test thsee weapons out. With 1P specific weapons, I think IDB uses a guess and check method, although I am no 100% sure.

They use a high level pet so that fights will last a while, an item that can steal more than once, and then steal all the items from the challenger. At least, that how I believe they do it. I have been wrong before...

As SirClucky said, you can steal all the items from an opponent with an item like Tornado Ring, but I also think it is possible to just search through the Neopets Image Database until you find it...Probably using Guess and Check searching...

Is it common to search through the database? I mean NeoItems doesn't catalogue them, so it might take a while.
But Tornado Ring is the main key, steal em all and then you can just "right click + properties" on thee images of the weapons in your fight .
