I didn't realize you already had a built in error function. Nice math insight, and I hope I don't have to take Stats and Prob cause that is my least favorite part of math...

Wdiablo2004 Wrote:Well technically, by probability standards there is, but I won't get into that as it is streching probability at best. I mean to distort your function by making the functions of the Green Frost Cannon for incstance...

Alright, for simplicities sake i'm gonna just say it freezes at a 10% chance...

Functions:

Y=1*10^X
Y=1*8^X
Y=1*12^X
Y=1*15^X
Y=1*5^X

Now, if you graph all those, and then find the average of them all for a set point, which should result in a freaky looking function, but would be much more accurate in my opinion as it takes a look at throwing some "luck" into the equation...

I disagree- if it freezes at a 10% chance per turn, and we ignore the fact that you might die, it will always have a 10% chance to freeze. The summation functions for chance to freeze on each individual turn will always add together to form the original average chance. Unless you'd care to disproove me?

I just can't see WHY you'd want to use a combined exponential function graph... there is still a 10-turn average to freeze-

Heh, it is a college requirement. You have the option of going far into Stat, or far into Calc. The majority of jobs require: Stat. I don't like it either.

I don't see how a Computer Engineer would need either, but I plan on doing Calc simply cause the teacher doesn't make you do homework...I'm just too lazy Smile

Also, what if they blocked the Snow Mudball/Honey Potion with a....say...leaf sheild? That effect's the damage per turn, correct?

I guess the idea behid this thread was to see which kind of freezer would be better. Black frost cannon works similarly to the rainbow one.

I suspect that the main idea was to prove that not 100% freezers are not useful.

wouldnt 15 icon muffins be better than mud snowball?

Check the timestamp. At the time of writing, the cheapest 15 icon muffin was the Water Muffin, and it was ~20K, meaning cheaper muffins/snowballs were used more.
