Guess who just pulled an all-nighter...
I worked most of the night (12 midnight to 5am) on a paper due today...hooray for no sleep. First time I've done this, actually. How often do other people not sleep to finish homework?

Strangely, I've never had to stay up to finish, I always manage to finish just minutes before I usually go to bed no matter how late I start.

Well...I want to make sure I get an A in the class (though, you'd laugh if you knew my current grade). And it really didn't help that I put off starting the essay until an hour past bedtime...

lol I guess our definition of hw is different Toungue HW in my opinion is stuff you don't have to do unless you need practice Mellow If one can get an A without doing any HW, the teacher doesn't careToungue but the essays/big things need to be done...and procrastination is the normal way to go, usually resulting in no sleep the night before ~SmugCry

Heh, I take it you're in college...I'm in high school, and my teachers most certainly care if you do the homework. Not quite so much as if you pass the tests/write good essays, but they still care.

Go procrastination, it's totally always a good idea. Look how much extra time you get to take advantage of when you don't sleep!

I get my stuff done ahead of time. If it's a regular assignment or a programming assignment, I do it ASAP so I don't have to worry about it. If it's a paper, I usually do it the weekend before it's due.

In college, there's generally 2 kinds of the homework: The suggested kind, and the required kind. Some teachers only give required. Some only give suggested, which is pretty nice because you get to decide if you need to do it or not, and if so how much of it.

Once, in 5th grade. I haven't had to recently, I don't have tons of extra-curricular activities like someone I know. (They decided to cap the number of photos she gets in the yearbook Toungue) I keep telling her she'll burn out, but she's managed 3 years already, so...

RE: Guess who just pulled an all-nighter...
I've never had to do it yet. The only times I've pulled all-nighters were when I go on a roadtrip the next day (since I don't drive) or when I have jet lag. :S
