Well, shown icons depend on defence and strength. The Standard icons are constant, unless the ratio changes agaisnt weak opponents.

When I faced Zafara rogue it defended 5 icons.

If your opponent's strength boost is lower than your defence boost , more defend icons will show up. I got 6 phy defend icons when I fight a 8 boost opponent.

Carved Sansetsukon is needed for more date to prove that it's not worth it . If IDB database just says 1 phy + 4 phys , players might think that this weapon can always defend three icons which is comparable with Cloudy wand of storms which is over 80k but Carved Sansetsukon is only over 30k. Giev me some probable reason please.

Your test is not valid enough, satisfied now ? You can't do test against 1P unless you know exactly their str or def boost, and that can't be derived from only looking at their hp.
If you're doing the test against 2 player, I will considerate your test, assuming the way you're testing is correct (for example there is "rule" of who click go button first etc).

1. I have 19 def so 13 boost , 1 dmg def / icon , Mr.Chuckles has 13 boost , as proved in the screenies

2. If I damage him , I withdraw since his HP can keep a constant , so does his str

3. I use cautious attack in every round.
