RE: "lifespan" HT items
there are too many GB's out of the HT. Sure that if it get retired, price will be higher, but not too much maybe... 1m+ at max think so...

I suggest you to save to adams avatar first, because it could take you a long time maybe... in this time not only the GB can get removed from HT, a new weapon could be added too...

I dont know your set, i dont know if you really need the SoS or the GB itself... but if you want set advice you should go to the Weapon Advice forum ^_^

Good luck saving NPs!

RE: "lifespan" of HT items
Also, it seems like if they retire a very useful weapon, they usually add something comparable to the HT, or make sure we have a similar choice somehow. Think about Ghostkersword and Pirate Captains Cutlass. The Ghostkerbomb is the best bomb, so I'm betting that if it ever gets retired (and maybe it never will), they'll put in a new bomb with different icon types or something. Save up for the Adam avatar, and then you can buy yourself the bomb and have NP left over to invest, or to buy something else nice!

RE: "lifespan" of HT items
I think there is still a fear of something retiring and nothing else good enough or affordable enough replacing. Best example would be the Jade Scorchstone. I know there are some of us who are afraid that it might happen again. The question is, is such a fear justified?

k thks,i get ur pt.i am a bit hesistant because i am actually gearing up jus in case TNT releases the HW plot(most prob a war)now that CG plot has ended. The GB would prove useful in my set and in getting war pts.dun mind me posting here, currently i have a freezer,EoE,SoRF,and HP with a 188(12short) strength boost.

RE: "lifespan" of HT items
At least with the jade, there is also the Leaded Elemental Vial, which I actually like better. It restocks, just not that often. So there is an alternative... but yeah, because it's not in the HT, it's not as good. I like my weapon prices regulated.

Not really
1. they retired jade ss, and it "never" get replaced in ht (Ice ss can't compare to it). What's better than full healer? Dual (or more) duty full healer Big Grin . Thats a fact they should consider. Even 0.5 icon will do..., the fact of jade and lev keep inflating is really something... especially for those who can't rs... I mean the ratio of getting np and the inflation is just not match Toungue. (Jade was 2 mil, 1.8 mil after it get discount after the "accident", and 60 millish is not something most people can afford... perhaps after they could the price would be 300 mil or something Toungue, thus releasing lev (or ice ss) was not really capping jade inflation...)

2. They never replaced the various rod of novas, the few minutes lifespan jhudoras wand with it "strange" mechanism, a lot of first click full blockers, "fss", the "best" unique items, aisha myriad and hubrid sphere, and attack fork perhaps? Theres an unreleased item (long time ago) called bent sword or something similiar, if this is released, and have the same effect as attack fork but affect blades/swords instead of fork... bd will be more fun to watch Big Grin. And did I say they evilly retired faerie paint brush... ShutupD:

3. Took a long time after m claw was retired and then gsword released in ht. Took a long time for spotion to replace the retired ice dice as well. Though it's very interesting that lately they "replace" everything retired such as the cblade and the new pstick.

The lifespan, whether item retired or not, downgraded or not, its all depend on the tnt mood...

anyway I don't know if Gbomb is hts or not, but if its not, you perhaps can buy one first, then if you have enough to add up for adam avatar, just sell it and rebuy it.

gbomb is the best bomb so far, if its retired, and not get replacement, it will go up up ... and we never know tnt mood or our luck...

RE: "lifespan" of HT items
You're right, Phoenix. I did mean more recently, though. They seem to be a little smarter with BD stuff now, making sure we have a non-species 50% healer (Bag of Healing Dust) and capping the price of freezers with the Magical Marbles of Mystery, stuff like that. It is nice that they're replacing retired items now, and with fairly useful stuff, too (though those Porcelain Hair Sticks are debatable... I think they were going for a G-shield killer, but they don't do enough icons for the price).

Yes, but little is sometime not enough Sad

I don't really know the inflation of bag of healing dust, but I think it will just follow the jade/lev, although it will get capped somewhere. Releasing it only make the rser get richer (not actually capping jade/lev)... why they don't actually do the same with the non rser >_<. The freezer inflation (hh) was not as scary as jade... and they were actually capped because there is freezing potion (and luckily its not r99) and sleep ray around, I hope they really do something to cap jade/lev inflation....

haha sorry for the "heat up", ranting because jade is so expensive... >_< but again theres always 1 use 100% healing item.. and I don't even heal in battles Shutup
