About the Scroll Potion
http://forums.finalhit.org/showthread.php?tid=13809

There has already been one post condeming it as useless.

Instead concider it as a traning tool.

Take a 0 int pet.

Quick fight with it, use potion first turn. Win or loose the battle. Use any healing potion.

You just gained 5 int.

Repete 20 times.

Your at the 100 INT mark, much faster then ANY training could POSSIBLY give it to you.

RE: About the Scroll Potion
This weapon should actually raise the value of weapons like any Tunic requiring you to have a certain stat.

If all you have to do is go around quickfighting people all day, winning or losing, you're gaining 5 int.

Do this for a few days, and that 1,000 intelligence barrier has been reached pretty easily.

RE: About the Scroll Potion
I thought it only made the opponent lose, and you didn't agin any. My mistake. This is really cool if it permanently drains, but I fear it will be filed under the Dark Faerie Eraser/Slorg Flakes/Chia Flour category of unethical weapons. Even worse, it could be downgraded or retired.

RE: About the Scroll Potion
i hate this weapon and it needs more research for sure.

my questions are simple ones ...

ok so i lost so far 15 intelligence to this beast great now can i get it back ?
i mean do certain books ive read disappear from my list ? can i re-read them ? in the long run if you cant ? then this isnt going to raise int req. weapons price it will lower them since it will make a limit you can obtain with intelligence and could effectively keep you from using those weapons ... i find that pretty lowsy on TNT's part if you ask me but if its really limited in distribution ( i know atleast 5 exist atm ) and they start disappearing due to being r99's or being lost then fine with me the sooner the better. it wouldnt be so bad would it if they released a good quantity of them ? tho then there would be a way to sustain the damage being done by it i dunno mixed feelings on this one

Me and another user tested it on a 0 int pet. No INT drain occured. It said the scroll potion had no effect.

*Knows useless stuff*

RE: About the Scroll Potion
Well, you can always get intelligence from Cliffhanger/Faerie Crossword/Coltzan's Shrine, so you wouldn't have to worry about intelligence ever becoming impossible to recoup. Maybe not easy, but not impossible.

RE: About the Scroll Potion
I read books for other gains (scroll of hunger, excetera) and then break them on the wheel of misfortune. I depend on non book sources of int. Daily play to the limit of cliffhanger, daily play of the crossword, and shrine every 12 hours.

Don't worry, this new toy is a tool, not a curse.

Then again, I'm the nut who thinks the pocket lab ray would be used well for the forces of good
